Wait did Collosus date a black girl if so he a real one.
ОтветитьCan’t wait for him in rivals. Loved him ever since I saw him in the xmen films
ОтветитьColossus and kitty? Bro her poor 😺!
ОтветитьCan you remake this video? The audio is kind of hard to understand at times
ОтветитьI can never like colossus because he dated a 13 year old
ОтветитьCould you make a video about magik. Theres really not many vids covering her history.
ОтветитьColossus is always shafted in all writing Deadpool did a good job but always represented poorly he’s one of my favorite hero’s
ОтветитьI know this video is eight years old, but as I steadily get into the X-Men in recent years I find that based on my tastes in characters my favorite is certainly Colossus, and I wanted to get caught up real quick on his relevant stories before I read them myself. This video seemed like an excellent way to look into the past of Colossus as I go into things myself (and it is!). What this video teaches me, and honestly what I kind of expected, is that Colossus doesn't really have any notable stories, and frequently the writers just don't know what to do with him so half of this video is dedicated to "and then the writers did this to Colossus so they could write him out of the comics for about three years". Tragic, but not unexpected, and it won't change the fact that Colossus is my boy. Just, you know. Seems like I don't have much to go on when it comes to reading about specifically him, and is more just reading the runs of X-Men where he happens to be a part of the team.
ОтветитьAs an extremely late bloomer here, I just recently began my interest in some comics. I was looking for the story about Colossus and this was a phenomenal and detailed explanation in easy an organic fashion. I thoroughly enjoyed your Comics Explained. I look forward to learning more about Wolverine as well, as he is the Character I love the most. Great job and thank you! 😻☺
ОтветитьAnyone know the song in the background
ОтветитьThis needs an upgrade ❤
ОтветитьColossus is, has been, and always will be my favorite Marvel character
ОтветитьRob sucks 😱😃🤡😂
ОтветитьYo, where the fuck did you get that bullshit ass fuckin whiteboy political definition of civil rights. shit literally had nothing to do with gays or lesbians you goofy fuck. so fuckin stupid. the governement never killed gays and lesbians, they killed the "negros".
Ответить😴😴😴
Ответитьever since i was 13 ive always loved Xmen's rendition of him especially in xmen DOFP his sound effect when transforming is "chefs kiss" but im sad that he is underused as compared to the comics in XMEN. BUT THANKS DEADPOOL FOR GIVING MY COMRADE PETE THE SPOTLIGHT
ОтветитьMy alias=colossus
Ответить"The government killed my family. Guess I'll just start working for them now"
Sound logic of Soviet Union of the 616
Really miss the old more academic format.
ОтветитьColossus has always been my favorite I did not know that vibranium weakens his armor and makes him has to transform back into human form that really sucks considering vibranium is one of the main sources of power in the new marvel universe but as you know meetings adapt and I'm sure they come up with something that protects Colossus from this
ОтветитьI’m preparing for this part and it would help me a lot thank you
ОтветитьCould you put captions please
ОтветитьThat was a DEEP story! Damn... But awesome!!!
ОтветитьShame on you for throwing todays made up agenda into the civil rights movement! Those were real movements for a real purpose! Don’t you dare compare those real men and women standing up for real rights then to today’s made up agenda.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite characters, but i do have many favorites. I always liked Colossus Spark attack too.
ОтветитьCould Peter ride in a vehicle in his metal form or is he too heavy?
ОтветитьTotally love this series ty
ОтветитьI’m so glad you changed the format an how you do your videos im researching some different mutants so I’m going over your old vids maaan I love the way you do your videos now these old videos are a snooze fest jeez and then the sleepy music in the background what we’re you thinking back then Rob lol?
ОтветитьPiotr
ОтветитьColossus isn’t just covered, his entire body turns into the organic steel and he doesn’t need to eat, sleep or breathe while in this form. He even got so seriously injured in said form once, Magneto had to help heal him otherwise he would’ve died had he changed back to his human form.
ОтветитьSooo, this whole relationship with Deadpool is a thing or not?
ОтветитьI watch to getaway from ,everyday politics, BLM, LGTB and CRT are not part of the Escape Plan. The
ОтветитьVery VERY informative video. I actually wasn't aware that Thunderbird had the same type of power as Colossus in the beginning 🤔
ОтветитьPhenomenal story telling (therapy really), once again Rob. Colossus is my boy.
I never knew he was still “unstoppable” when he got a portion of the Phoenix force. Hard to believe he could be “stopped” in that form, but I guess Pioter is too kind to be unstoppable 😝
I’d like to see what happens to him when he’s emotionally tested in that state of power, like when Wolverine rigged the machine and Pioter (Peter), had to save him, or when he saved his sister.
I’d basically like to see him snap. He would have been an amazing character to wear the infinity gauntlet.
(Snap pun unintentional, I meant emotionally snap) 😜
Okay, so I’m summary, my dream is to see Pioter (Peter), become “unstoppable,” get the Phoenix force, and then dawn the infinity gauntlet to save the universe in a multiversal timeline on the big screen!
I also want to see a cleaner, more serious origin/version of Juggernaut on the big screen. As funny as the bromance is between Deadpool and Colossus, I hated the depiction of Juggernaut in both versions so far (FOX/legacy).
Time for Colossus and Juggernaut to get their time!
🙏 again Rob!
This guy is underrated. Colossus is the powerhouse, enforcer, tank of the x-men, and he doesn't get much love. His strength and abilities are downplayed, currently he's a class 100+. He lifted a submarine out of the bottom of a sea for fuck's sake.
ОтветитьI love these old videos
Ответить5 years ago So much time So much change
ОтветитьMy favourite X-Men member alongside Nightcrawler & Archangel 👍
ОтветитьOne thing, how is his hair still there? Doesn't the skin near the scalp get metal-lified?¿?
ОтветитьOh god 30 plus minutes!? 🤦🏼♂️
Ответитьnice..
ОтветитьJean Grey's powers had nothing to do with eliminating Krakoa. She wasn't that powerful at that time. Storm, Polaris, Havoc & Cyclops' powers eliminated that threat
ОтветитьCrazy how when it was actually needed comicbook pros helped ease racial tension. They didn't villainize a certain race or gender to try to make others look better. They were actually good at what they did. As opposed to today's comic book "pros". Anybody looking forward to reading about snowflake, Safe space, screen time, fat old dora the explorer? Who's also looking forward to the pros on twitter telling you how horrible a person you are for not loving their shitty work? Damn its such a great time to be a comic book fan. If you don't think so youre a sexist racist transphobic nazi.
Ответить"While the United States looks at mutants with fear and anger" Yep, sounds about right. In 2020, Americans are presented with simple facts how to prevent the spread of COVID-19(like wearing a mask and observe social distancing), they really do look at it with fear and anger.
ОтветитьWait I didn’t hear you mention Magik not one time
ОтветитьColossus & Kitty are so cute together. I think a part of me will always hold out a little hope for them, lol... Though, looking back, how big of an age difference did they have in the early days? I figured they were both high schoolers when I read the older comics back in the day, but comic characters can be hard for me to guess their ages.
ОтветитьI feel safe saying this here... Colossus is the best x men in MY eyes I dare you to change my mind XD
ОтветитьThey act like osmium is a made up comic book metal but it’s real. Osmium is the densest naturally occurring element. A small car (Honda Accord) weighs 3400 lbs without any gas or people inside. The same weight would be only 2 cubic feet of osmium. That's about the same space in a paper grocery bag. So, if you had a piece of osmium about the size of a paper grocery bag, it would weigh as much as a new car.
