Been here so many times and think i've seen this house
ОтветитьI can't believe that's the arctic. If you weren't wearing sweaters I'd have thought it was the South Pacific.
ОтветитьOwners who use salvaged materials always have incredible eye for design. It amazes me what they come up with!
ОтветитьI love the beautiful roof on the old wooden home🩵✨
ОтветитьA small farmhouse on the sea... gorgeous!
Ответитьcool place!
Ответить👍😇🏡🌲💲
ОтветитьThe nature is why I moved from Oslo to North-Norway 17 years ago.
Havent regretted it once, and I'm not going back south.
Weather be damned, I wouldnt want to live anywhere else.
I know where this is too, my brother lives in Skulbru, gorgeous location!
What an abomination of a house. Imagine building this ugly box in such a beautiful place.
Ответитьi'm so confused why they designed a kit-home, without a toilet?!
I guess 100 years ago, indoor toilets were just not a thing, even with all the fore-thought involved in the design of a kit-home.
No, no no no! Not a sign of poverty nor looked down on by neighbours! It is very common for old houses to have uninsolated attics with a insolated “room in the room” built whit-in it. Often in the 1950s. Peoples expectations shifted. Young people wanted a private space. If space was scarce it was solved by creating a room in the attic. My father grew up in a 1800- century building, sleeping in a room in the attic built in the 1950s. 👍
ОтветитьThere is a lot to like in this video. A lot.
But I absolutely detest the square shapes, flat roof and alu sheeting on the addition. It mars the original buildings and the landscape. Good thing it was almost hidden behind the trees.
Beautiful
ОтветитьThe location is stunning. Wondering what he does for a living, (if he still works), since it was mentioned that it's very remote. I'm curious as to why he simply didn't renovate and possibly expand the existing house instead of building the modern structure which seems so out of place.
Ответитьlove it
ОтветитьI would have knocked it all down recycled anything I could and strarted fresh but made it look like it was an old house for the charm element
ОтветитьThis one was strange
ОтветитьLove this property!! ♥️
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьIs this your third video from Lofoten?
ОтветитьOhhhh I wanted to see inside the barn! That was a tease. Great place though thanks
ОтветитьLook at the beautiful roof tiles 💕
ОтветитьQuestion to everyone who reads this: did you consent to being governed? I don't remember ever giving my consent.
And if it was ever mistaken i had, let it be known i have withdrawn any implied consent.
He's living the dream. There's surprisingly little info online about property prices in Lofoten. I've always dreamed of buying land there.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe light! So beautiful.
ОтветитьI've watched your channel consistently for more than 5 years. This guys spirit is one of the best yet. Cheers.
Ответитьwhat a dream ! I love what he has done and you can see he is an artist by the interiors, wonderful color and textures, beautiful living
Ответитьcan a usa persoin move there now?
ОтветитьHis fit is amazing
ОтветитьI hadn't seen your content in a while and three minutes in I thought, "God, I love this channel." And I thought I should let you know. Stay great out here!
ОтветитьBeautiful place and very respectful and resourceful man. I hope one of your children continue on with your work when you two retire. Your body of work is tremendously good and inspiring. Ver grateful for these! Happy Valentine's Day, all!❤ 💘💌💐
Ответитьim sorry but this is like slum living. very ugly, messy looking. the old looking house is nice from the outside at least.
ОтветитьAmazing video, all natural conversations and good questions. And also you can feel Kjetil' s joy when he talks about his house :)
ОтветитьFar too many jump cuts (editing) to view this segment. To the producer, please take videographer classes and editing 101. That way you will not make viewers sick with all of your jump cuts and work on more effective editing techniques in post-production.
ОтветитьThe title is misleading. It makes you think that you can purchase a kit home for 15k today... not 100 years ago.
ОтветитьHe might benefit from a wind break in front of his home. Though that would block the view
ОтветитьWhat on Earth has he done !
Right next to a beautiful house ( in a picturesque environment) he has put-up the ugliest square box - like something built in East Germany ( circa 1953 ) by a zealous Communist town-planner .
Would love to see what the community is like.
that's the only way to survive in a harsh environment like this
Fabulous house. The beam that was cut horizontally will be an issue with LA country
ОтветитьThe new building may offend some..I think it is a perfect to compliment the original house…Frieda Karlo and her husband had adjoining buildings that served them individually and they also were connected by a bridge..a beautiful location open to the extreme elements..
ОтветитьExcellent summary of life before modern conveniences. Mirrors a lifestyle lost in time of my family's 1700s Cape Cod farm house off the coast of New England.
ОтветитьWhat an incredible place and respectful human being!
ОтветитьOMG I love this....these....house! Both are soooooo unique!
ОтветитьWonderful property!
ОтветитьThat couple was Unbelievably frugal, Norwegians are bloody tough people 💪🏻🦾
ОтветитьAnother superb episode. What a beautiful home and man!
ОтветитьStunning ❤
ОтветитьCan I come?
ОтветитьAmazing
