I was thinking this would be a good song for a comic I had in mind, follows the main character who’s on the run from the police decides to go to a phone booth outside of a gas station to call and ask about his mother who’s in the hospital. Turns out to not be very good news and he feels super upset and goes outside to see the girl he’d fallen for waiting for him after she had followed him there after he said not too. She starts explaining how she’s sorry she followed him out there but she felt he needed someone there, he walks over and without saying a word kisses her as this song plays from the outside PA system of the gas station. Their first kiss and this really starts the story as he now has a reason to keep going.
