I think FIsher's 25 and 30 Mulberry are much nicer than Slip. Slip's price is high due to it's advertising influensters pushing it. Plus Fisher's comes beautifully packaged and includes a mesh laundry bag.

Slipsilk are the best as they use the highest grade (6A) long fibre mulberry silk, with a thickness of 22 momme and it includes non-toxic dyes. Anything less than 22 momme thickness is less effective and not as good. The higher the momme, the higher quality and more durable the fabric is. Silk between 19- 25 momme are considered ideal because the weave is more durable. 'Grade A' silk comes in A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A, with 6A being the highest and finest quality silk, as used in the Slipsilk pillowcases. I love my Slipsilk pillowcase and have just bought other colours to match different bedding and have learnt a lot since researching about silk pillowcases, hence why I won't buy cheap ones elsewhere.

I took my Amazon bought pillowcases and gave them to my husband. He loves them and is glad they don't catch on his facial hair. I also had a pink 19 momme one I let my Shar-Pei use now.

I do notice the glossiness on Slip and Blissy that other brands do not have.

So now we know, Blissy copied Slip. I see more Blissy ads and their pricing and logo stamp is just like Slip.

Shut up and take my money! (I know you're not selling them directly, but maybe you should be, haha). You look incredible. I'm so annoyed that I'm starting at 41 instead of 17. 😩

I use thick moisturizer @ night, wouldn't it stain the pillowcase?

My silk pillow cases become completely wrinkle free after hanging them to dry. I love how quickly they dry! I just slept on one for the first time last night!

Silk Pillow case is so expensive. I think everybody should try buying a big piece of Mulberry silk, cut it up (GOOGLE search "Mulberry silk fabric" it is so so cheap), than use the waterproof fabric glue to put it together. You can even customize whatever size you want to fit your current pillow. I don't think it is hard to glue two side of silk together. Don't you guys think so??? If you guys are too lazy to glue it together. Just wrap your pillow with big piece of Mulberry silk. Believe me 6 feet of 100% Mulberry Silk still much much cheaper than your one Silk Pillow case. Problem is solved.

Hi Nicole, actually satin is the way the fabric is woven. You can have a satin made of cotton, polyester or even silk. The slip silk are made of a <<charmeuse>> silk. <<Charmeuse>> is the structure just like satin. But I really like your video!

I used mulberry silk pillowcase last night , other brand from online , and my hair looks really good. It looks no frizzy at all and feels like I have just brushed them. Can’t really say much about skin though it feels the same. Will come back to give another review after a month if any improvements in skin

If you are having any sort of skin procedure (laser treatments etc), I would highly recommend a silk pillowcase regardless of what you use on your skin as it is so much gentler than cotton as your skin will just glide across the fabric rather than hanging up on cotton.

My fiancé just bought me for an early birthday present a new ecosa pillow and a 100% mulberry silk pillow case both of which are amazing. I will never be able to sleep on cotton again.

I wish to share some information about fabric (and therefor silk pillowcases, which you have a few videos about) so you can be better informed and better inform your audience. I am sharing this information because I did not see it in any of your other videos about pillows, so if you included it elsewhere or did not include this information for simplicity's sake, I apologize for assuming your ignorance.

Satin refers only to the weave of the fabric and not the fibre content. If you ever had to in school weave paper together in art you made what is called a 'plain weave'. A satin fabric is one that is woven so that one side is smooth (and silky) and the other side is more rough. So a satin fabric could be made of polyester, rayon, silk, cotton or anything else that you can make thread out of.

Fibre is what one uses to make thread. Types of fibre include; natural fibers like cotton, wool, linen or silk; and man-made fibers like polyester, rayon, nylon. Once made into thread these fibres can be made into any weave, including satin.

Generally things that are labelled 'satin' will refer to a satin-weave that is made from man-made fibers and things labelled 'silk' will refer to anything made of silk fibers. However when shopping online some companies may label their product as 'silk' in the title or discription when what they are selling is made out of satin-weave polyester or nylon.

The best way to be sure that you are getting real silk is to check the fibre content of the object (often at the bottom of the item discription) before buying and on the tag that is sewn into the item on one of the side seams. If you still are still unsure or think the fabric is mis-labelled then do a burn test at home in a safe, well-ventilated area; silk will not burn easily when removed from the flame, will not melt, and will smell like burning hair.


TL;DR Satin is a weave and does not refer to what material the fabric is made of. Read item discriptions carefully and always look for fiber content when looking for silk pillow cases

Nicole, are you familiar with the Slip pillowcase that Anthropologie sells in their store? It appears to be the real thing but someone posted that it said 'Made in China'. Is the original one Made in China?
