I think this is the first drinker critique that I disagree with. I actually liked this movie and I didn’t think it was as bad as he made it out to be. To be fair tho, I haven’t watched any of the X-men movies except Logan so that might have something to do with it.

mate youre so negative. Ive never seen u review a movie in a positive light. I get it, its your brand. just endless ranting. Just gets tiring after a while. This movie is absolutely fine. Not bad, not great. Just ok. Adequately entertaining. But you seem to disapprove of everything. Maybe you should direct a movie and show them how its done since you think you know better than them... ohh wait, hard to get a project greenlit when youre loving in your mom's basement, eating Cheetos and, yes, getting drunk.

The majority of these characters in this movie were awesome! Danny sucked. Had they dropped her and replaced the doctor with Mr sinister, this movie would have been rad!

CD is not a comic fan ...or he would have known that many of the mutants were around long before DC suicide squad....dont know of the movie , since it never came to theaters ,,,,sometimes CD is lazy in his critics . this could be one of them .

I sincerely thank you for addressing how hilarious some of these comic book names sound and that they should be made a tad more realistic when adapted to the screen. I get it should have a degree of goofiness because those are literally stories about people with superpowers in dumb costumes fighting evil, but is Rasputin really the best you can come up with as a Russian name? I'm glad Matt Reeves simply shortened Penguin's stereotypically English name to Cobb because he knew how ridiculous it sounds - simple, yet effective.

Ilyanna Rasputin got her name the same way Piotr Rasputin (aka Colossus) got his name, from their parents. She's iritable after being imprisoned in a demonic realm for many years.

Lockheed isn't Ilyanna's imaginary friend, he's Katherine Pryde's (a member of the X-Men, not an extra) real friend, whom she met during the Brood War saga. Too bad Marvel didn't tell that story or the Asgardian Wars. Talk about blunders.

The thing about this movie was it was SO CLOSE to being legitimately awesome. They'll never know how it could have been.

This film actually got worse in retrospect. 4 years on and I barely remember it, and am only here bc I was watching a Drinker take-down of Annihilation. The only actor who seemed to escape this tarpit of career doom was Anya Taylor-Joy.

However if anyone wants a sting clip of hopeless mis-casting and direction, just snip Blu Hunt trying to run. jfc
