Happy #BrothersDay from our miracle #EleTwins! Play fighting, or sparring, is serious business for elephant calves – especially the males! Yaad and Tukada engage in important play behavior, putting their trunks on each other's heads, tackling, headbutting, and pushing each other. While these activities are playful for now, they will help teach the young males how to successfully compete for dominance once they reach sexual maturity.

When the calves have had enough or need a break from the play, they retreat back to their family
