Great video! The other thing that is helpful, you can drag your headings in the navigation view to rearrange your document.

Trying the same for paragraphs but it ain't global. ONLY works on the selected paragraph and NOT all the 10,000 other paragraphs in my document. The rest does NOT update as you say it will! Why?

The person that made this video is both a sadist and psychopath. Of course I am kidding, but why on EARTH would you not expand the styles pane and attach it to the right? That ribbon function is a travesty of user interface design...its just the worst (cue John Ralpheo singing "the woooooorst".
Content otherwise food...but seriously. Expand that function using the little arrow in the lower left hand corner.

I created my drop down box - updated the style, changed the font, font size... but when I go to say okay it only changes the color around the drop down box. Argh! Can you pls help me?

Kevin can you give me a hand. The problem I have is I have a resume format I used from my computer. Now it’s on my iPhone and I want to edit it and make changes, and for some unknown reason the letters and words are mixed up and it doesn’t read properly? What can I do?? I can create a cover and the 2 page style but can't get the 3rd page to be the one that is continuous?

I need help. My Styles Gallery Dialogue box is completely missing from Word. I don't know how that happened and I can't find anything online that tells me how to get it back. I remember deciding that I didn't use Styles, so I wanted it off of the ribbon. But I can't imagine how I would have completely deleted it from the program. Now I need it for a job and there are no Styles. I have tried to customize the ribbon, but there is no Styles group to add to the ribbon. What have I done, and how do I fix it? The other thing I think is really important about using headings is if you create a PDF from your word file, it will create a hyperlinked table of contents AND you can have it auto-bookmark the PDF using the headings (even multiple heading levels). When creating large complicated documents (i.e. in a business environment) it can be VERY helpful to have a hyperlinked and bookmarked PDF.

Hi Kevin thanks for this tip. I have been using Microsoft Office for the past 27 years and despite this there is alway something new to learn - and I love your tuts for this! They are clear and straight to the point. However lately I have been having a huge problem with the size and colour of the fonts on the tabs sections of word and so when normally once something would take me 5 minutes to do it now takes me around 15 minutes! - I am finding them really tiny and extremely light in shade and so I have to constantly peer closer to find the function I need to click on in order to get the job done. I cannot find a single tutorial on Google that provides instructions on how to this. - would you know of a way I could fix this?
