Really cool video topic, something I never thought about was different!
- Very inspiring for topics for my future street-interviews
I hate handshakes cause i dont like touching rabdom strangers. You dont know where their hands have been.
ОтветитьHere in Hong Kong more and more people are holding doors open for others, and even holding the lift.
Ответитьit's charming how they're don't know how to shake hands xd
ОтветитьOK based on some comments... if foreigners go to Japan, they "should" change their behavior to respect their ways so I assume in the same breath, if a Japanese foreigner comes to another country (like USA), they should start shaking hands, right? Just VERY ODD if it's only a one way expectation. Personally, I think all countries should welcome different cultures into their countries (that includes different behaviors - as long as it's not violent) instead of expecting people to change their authentic selves. But it's hard to change any country's history.
ОтветитьDon’t hug them either
ОтветитьThey reacted to the handshake like it was a snake poised to bite them. Is it that much of an alien concept in Japan? Do they not know it's a common way of greeting people in many parts of the world and that it's how people introduce themselves, especially in business situations? 🤔
ОтветитьSo funny how they have different bow angles for each situation
Ответитьああ、握手よりもお辞儀のほうがいいよ Bow is better than shake hands
ОтветитьIt's funny seeing a common thing, in my area, like a handshake being such a strange concept...that one dude looked like he wanted to no longer exist, and seeing as how there was no more footage of him I assume he peaced out. Though, tbh, some people treat a handshake like a power move.
ОтветитьI just recently visited Japan and I once saw an old man inside a train watching pornographic video! 😂 Like literally, women getting f*cked and the old guy seems nonchalant about it. 😅
I dunno if that is normal in Japan.
男はゲイにしか声かけない規定がありますか?
ОтветитьI kinda like the idea of fining people for spitting in public but that would never fly in the US, now if they spit in a store on the ground or something super nasty like that? That's actionable but I don't think it's a fine.
ОтветитьAren't a lot of these considered rude in most places? Like where in the world is showing up late NOT considered rude or improper?
"Is slapping someone in the face considered rude?!" Type questions
try not showing the people with rivets in their faces. it ruins my view of the country.
ОтветитьJapanese people are weird..why is that?
ОтветитьNot gonna handshake with others who knows if they wash hands or touch boogers without washing hands -_-
ОтветитьIm japanese raised in the us and I also bow as I shake hads with people 😂
ОтветитьIn my country handshakes between relatives is sometimes competitive, some of my uncles were testing me how much I could hold. For many years my hand was crushed but with age tables turned.
ОтветитьIn Germany 15 minutes is too late. You will have to call and have a good excuse by then.
ОтветитьHere in Russia it is usually men who hand shake.
And holding doors is considered important for elderly, kids, adults with kids and pregnant women.
The older man seemed really nice and understanding !
ОтветитьI think that guy has bad camera shyness or social anxiety separate from shaking hands
ОтветитьVery fun video! I like to shake hands with everyone when I meet new people exactly because it makes me feel like a politician as that one guy put 😂
ОтветитьIt's werid to shack peoples hands ? 😂😂 Interesting
ОтветитьWhy do I feel like all the guys might have appeared in porn videos?
ОтветитьI really love Japan's culture. One of the most beautiful cultures around the world. Top 1 maybe.
Ответитьなんか変な人多いな
普通に握手するしきょどる人なんか見たことないわ
5.51 guy is virgin.
ОтветитьIf you like limp noodles, shaking hands in Japan is a must.
ОтветитьThat uncle/grandpa is very kind
ОтветитьYeah, unfortunately here in America, shaking hands becomes an egotistical pissing contest to see how firmly you can shake as well as making sure your hands are full interlocked vs “ cutting someone short “ aka female handshake.
ОтветитьWow, who knew there was so much work into doing a simple bow in Japan🙇♀️
ОтветитьIt’s not rude but not in every country people shake hands in their first meeting
Ответить…the older gentleman seems to be in bee keeping age
ОтветитьThe worse thing about handshakes in America is when the other guy only shakes half your hand, like he didn't want to grab your whole hand or something. You just want half your hand back, it feels grimy.
ОтветитьIt's fun to read comment section xd😂
ОтветитьIn 弓道 I have been taught the yu (45゜) and rei (90゜) angles of bowing. Have also noticed peers treated eachother with different respect just because one graduated a rank earlier than the other, even if the other is the older person.
Kind of makes me wonder with so many layers of respect, missing one or getting it mixed up, would that be offensive to superiors?
"The longer the better"
"As deep as you can, as long as you can"
We are talking about bowing here, don't think anything dirty please
