The Radon girls
ОтветитьWhat's even scarier is the fates of the uranium girls -- the ones painting the uranium onto the watch hands, licking their brushes between strokes to bring them to a point, constantly surrounded by the radium powder day in and day out. They died. Not before they were able to at least file a lawsuit and start the process of defending themselves and preventing others from suffering the same fate.
Ответитьhaha... urinate....
ОтветитьToday I have learned that my cousins became radioactive 2 years ago and I am also radioactive
ОтветитьThe coating of Radium is called a lume. I have a Russian watch that may still have the original Radium lume and another that may have a substitute. It's still probably the best lume material not just due to how well it illuminates, but for how long it will.
Not really concerned about it, though, since at most it might cause Radiation Hormesis.
Would a small uranium fuel pellet cause cancer if I swallowed it?
ОтветитьCan I eat it ?
Ответитьback in the days they didn't have no glowy phone screens or fear of radiation, their jaws fell out from licking the stuff off brushes and it was awful no one liked it, especially not the girls making them
ОтветитьI think your Geiger counter sounds super-happy. It looooves counting!!!
ОтветитьHehe 69
ОтветитьWhat’s happening to my urine!
ОтветитьUranium fever's gone and got me down, uranium fever is spreadin all around
ОтветитьPiss
ОтветитьSo there is something radioactive in the box.
Ответить"oops I dropped i-"
ОтветитьYes because people of that time had a hard time seeing the time in their watches at night and by adding radium it shined in the dark so that's why people used to have in their watch hands!
Ответитьradium girls
Ответить“It’s kind of scary that people used to wear these around” how it was made was more scarier.
ОтветитьAw man the first Geiger counter level was almost 69420
Ответить😱😱😱Who in their right mind allowed radium to be used in clocks?!?!?!😱😱😱
