already had one fail on me in 3 months. just received the warranty replacement. hopefully no issues any more.

The 3 comes with a fish guard so it's nice,. It's only Bluetooth so no wifi. The Nero's are directional but you need to understand how to tilt them. I like my 3 but even as it states 2,000 GPM, it's more of a wide flow and not directional. I have 40 breeder, you need to do 2 pumps or compliment another pump so you get more wave action. I love the feed mode at 1% and not just off like others.

Just purchased a nero 3 for my 20 gallon aio and I love it. I’m running it on 40% pulse mode 2 sec on/off. I love how the app shows live gph speedometer really cool.

If I have to nitpick it’s how you have to “create new tank” on the app if you have prime/ hydra light setup already.

I have two nero 5s for my 40 breeder mixed reef and I love them and I am thinking about getting one of these for my waterbox 20 cube, and like he said the app is so easy to use!

How would you set up 4 Nero 5s on a Reefer 350? I have them on the side glass 2 left, 2 right, 2 at bottom corner and 2 on top corner

I think plain black back would look better. Take it off and scrape coralline off the back :D

I live these pumps. I use 2 Nero 3 pumps on a Red Sea max nano on the pulse setting. Originally had an mp10 and I much prefer the neros.

Hi Good video. I have a question. I have 2 Jebao RW-8 pumps and one has failed so want to get a pair of Nero's. My tank is mixed reef , 100g and 26 inches tall. The 3's are rated at just under the flow of the RW-8's I believe (not sure how accurate that is). Just wanted to see your opinion on if they will be enough. Also have a Tunze 6025 lower in the tank and a Vectra M2 for return. So should I get the 3's or the 5's ?

Is this to big for an evo 13.5 mixed reef? Wanna use a nero 3 bad but if its to much then its pointless lol anyone using 1 in an evo or other small nano? There's always the hygger mini for half the price and seems smaller and a better pic maybe but I want the AI quality and reliability

Question about the controller functions.. How easy is it to enter feed mode from the controller? When I'm on vacation I have friends come over to feed my fish. I don't want them to have to deal with an App just to turn the pump off. Right now I use Jebao pumps and I like being able to hit one button and the pump goes into a 10min feed. Thanks

Reliability... not sure about that one. Have a Nero 5 that just refuses to run, it's 2 years old and AI just didn't provide any support

At 2000gph rating it is actually higher than my current Tunze 6055s. But does it have much 'throw'? Considering two for my 48" 120G - one at each end. But should I just go with the 5s instead?
