What's the most broken poker rule?
ОтветитьUnspoken yet shouted rule: If you're knocked out on a King / Jack all in shove you ride a tricycle home.
ОтветитьOh, how i needed to see this vid several years back.😅
ОтветитьI wonder if I can do the following at a cash game table: color up half of my chips, put them in the pocket, and continue the game with the remaining half?
ОтветитьThanks John Oliver
ОтветитьThis video saved my marriage. Thanks
ОтветитьAs a river player, I find this funny
ОтветитьRealy thought I know the most :D I apperantly have not even a clue. Thanks for the video :D
ОтветитьThis was great. I really want to play live and have been so intimidated by it. This help as it's easy to play online lol.
ОтветитьMy one friend slow rolls so much when playing garage poker I cant stand it
ОтветитьKeep your mouth shut if you aren't in the hand....
ОтветитьI don't think the phone rule really applies anymore. People have their phones on the table all the time and some people are actually watching movies on their phones while playing, including while they have live hands.
ОтветитьSo ur literally trynna lose money on purpose? Lol
ОтветитьBeautifully explained 😍
Ответить"gulp".
ОтветитьPlayers are real sticklers about these etiquette rules. I played live cash game once and I was called out for slow rolling a player when really I was just trying to read their hand before I made the decision to show or much my hand. Since I’m still learning I was just slow at figuring out their hand and I got screamed at for slow rolling them.
For now I have just made a rule for myself to always show my hand until I get better and faster and reading the cards
Amazing video! I have a question though: If someone bets (for example 200),if i put a small chip it counts as a call? If so,is it legal to do it in every round?
Ответитьplease include an Indonesian translation for each learning content. Thank You.
ОтветитьToo Complicated.....
Ответитьthis dude i play with at the casino scrolls on his phone (on the felt) but still manages to play when it’s his turn. thought it was odd he had his phone on the table for 20 mins nobody said anything

ОтветитьIf I close my eyes... I can imagine John Oliver giving me these rules. Your voice, accent and cadence is remarkably close to his.
ОтветитьSerious question.
What if your opponent went all in, are you allowed to show your cards while making a decision to call or fold so that you can see his reaction?
I knew I know how to play Hold'em, but now I see there are some rules I didn't know. Good video.
Ответить#1 Broken rule: Never act out of turn.
ОтветитьThose cards don't have to stay down.
You can hold them in your hand.
Mike postle likes his phones
ОтветитьCan you explain small and big blind?
ОтветитьIsn't there a rule for what increments you can bet in? Like the initial bet must be at least the big blind, then any raises must be at least twice the bet?
ОтветитьIm gonna be the best poker player in the world by the end of 2022

ОтветитьIs there a specific way to Check? Is it two taps? In front of your chips?
Ответитьhow about rebuys? we leave the table or say that we wants to rebuy?
ОтветитьSomeone send this video to Tony G
ОтветитьI wish things could open up sooner, I played my first live tournament at a local casino and it was honestly pretty fun. I think I got 11th out of 35 people
Ответить"you should be nice and respectful to other players and the dealer" ENTER: Phil Hellmuth
ОтветитьTip the dealer on a win. Not a rule, but really expected. First time playing a casino (no idea what I was doing IN A CASINO) I sat down at a cash game, I won a nice pot first cards dealt to me. No tip for the dealer because I didn't know. Win a hand, tip the dealer. Dealer says to me, quite flippantly "welcome to the table." Next hand, someone else wins and tips the dealer a buck, and I realize my mistake and quietly slide him a chip. Feel like that piece of etiquette is not perfectly obvious to newbies sitting down at the table for the first time.

ОтветитьIf someone bet 25 and I want to call the 25 and add 100, do I say "raise 100" or "raise 125"?
ОтветитьWhere can I get those cards used in the video?
ОтветитьAaaaah gonna show this to my friends, finally I'm not gonna be mister naggypants anymore
ОтветитьWhat if you need to use the bathroom?
ОтветитьI like these new videos, lots of new players need to watch this
ОтветитьEverything he said was true..... BUT NEVER DEAL A CARD THE WAY HE SHOWED..... IT IS WRONG......!!!!! You always turn the cards with the face ( in the dealers direction ) in this case the white part or # part..... The back of the card is always...... ALWAYS in the direction on the players..... NEVER EVER FLIP A CARD UNDER ALWAYS TURN OVER..... Trust me I taught poker dealers in LAS VEGAS FOR 20 YEARS and THEY ALL DEAL THE W.S.O.P as did I
ОтветитьBut I thought Phil Hellmuth said he had good etiquette?
Lmao
