Easiest to memorize is probably Caro-Kann Classical Spassky Variation, because every move has a clear purpose. White e4 releases his bishop, black c6 restricts the bishop, white brings another central pawn, black attacks undefended e4 pawn, white defends, black capture, white recapture, black attacks the knight, knight attacks that bishop, bishop moves away and restricts the knight, white pawn besieges the bishop, black creates escape square on h7, white develops the knight on kingside, black develops the knight on queenside to restrict whites knight, white pawn attacks the bishop and bishop moves to safety.

VERY SILLY, NAIVE VIDEO.
I am shocked that Anna Cramling put this garbage out. She presumes Black will make the novice moves that are most convenient for you - notice how she makes no comment on the black moves, she just quietly moves them to the positions that enable this opening to complete.
CHESS ISN'T LIKE THAT, ANNA
Unless you are playing a complete novice what actually happens is they bring their dark-squared bishop to d6 and trade it off with your "really active" bishop. Wasn't "really active " for long, was it?
Then they move their light-squared bishop to f5 that stops you from making the Bd3 move because due to your Knight on d2 your Bishop on d3 will simply get taken.
Cramling makes no comment on what to do to prevent or mitigate this, she just presumes it won't happen and as I said chess just isn't like that.
I might not be as good a player as Cramling but I have been playing competitive chess for 50 years and my advice is to disregard this video. It is purely done for money, is woefully inadequate and incomplete and as such very poor advice. You won't win ANY chess games like this.

the only problem with the london system is that there are some good counter attacks that unless you really know chess you'll fall for them, KID and dutch defence kinda counter it effectively too if your purpose is to learn i'd at least learn some variations like jobava's , catalan or queens gambit to have a bit of flexibility

“The WOMAN who BEAT 59 men and sued Netflix for \$5 MILLION” ♟️🔥
Meet Nona Gaprindashvili—the real-life chess queen Netflix tried to erase. While The Queen’s Gambit celebrated “Beth Harmon,” they conveniently “forgot” that Nona:
• 1962: Became the first woman ever to earn the title of International Grandmaster
• Defeated 59 male opponents in simultaneous exhibitions—28 of them fellow Grandmasters
• Won five consecutive Women’s World Championships (a record that still stands)
• Refused to compete for the overall World Championship when Soviet officials banned her from bringing along her young son
• At 79 years old, claimed gold at the Senior Team World Championship, proving age is just a number
In 2022, at age 80, she sued Netflix for \$5 million** for the on-screen claim that she “never faced men”—and won. Netflix publicly apologized and settled, but how many people even heard this story?
For decades, chess’s power brokers downplayed her achievements. Nona’s revenge? A legacy so powerful it outshines fiction.
Next time you watch The Queen’s Gambit, remember: the real Beth Harmon walked the board decades ago—and her true story is 100 times more incredible.♟️
