Amazing list; I'd only seen one or two of these! And I have to admit it got to me pretty hard since I'm a fairly regular drinker -- nothing too excessive, but I know I'm more at risks for health issues since I started so young. It really makes me want to sit down and consider what I'm doing when I drink. Oof.

(On a lighter note, did anybody else read the 'but wait, it's not over yet' after number 1 in Rachael Leigh Cook's voice from the frying pan drug PSA? I sure did 😋)

The corkscrew one is creepy more because its old grainy imagery than the message itself. Weird how something like that can creep you out just on that alone, but there it is

eventually, i meaning it, i have seen commonly that they sell it to 16 years old, i am a little weeaboo (in short: weeb), and i once drank alcohol because my mother dared to do it, i didnt like it and spat it out immediately.

Back in the days when I was young and I went out binge drinking, but stopped after so many bad drinking experiences. I like a drink once in a while, but I don't try to get drunk.

Anyone knows this PSA were a drunk man on his lawn at a party, makes a kid spin, everyone enjoys it, then goes home, where it gets dark, he does the spin trick to a kid, the kid hits something and makes him just lay there, not crying or anything, then a woman says get out, and the man is outside the house, sitting, and text shows up

Great list - I haven't seen most of these. I was expecting it to include the same old drink driving ads that are in every PIF compilation. However 239 Pints of beer in 1 year sounds quite moderate to me!

The one where it started off like a regular alcohol commercial only to escalate was genius.

I just found these PIFs because I was looking for anti drinking PIFs because I wish I had never tried alcohol it ruined not only my life but the lives of the people around me by the time I got to the legal drinking age 21 I was a full blown alcoholic so it's good to raise awareness of the dangers of drinking

I feel the problem isn't with alcohol but with how people use it.

fun fact about the Polish one – the line „rybka lubi pływać” is not literally „you drink like a fish”, but „a fish likes to swim”, which basically is an encouragement to drink alcohol
