Rattleskull is delicious! I didn’t have the exact ingredients, but nonetheless. It’s aptly named
ОтветитьDam, I'm missing one ingredient from every recipe. 😢
ОтветитьCan I ask what the European equivalent would be to the apple cider you used is please? Is it natural, unfiltered apple juice, or is it the “non-alcoholic version of normally alcoholic” cider?
Thanks, and cheers Anders!

Ответить🎉 Love the show man. I seem to have bought so many spirits already i can't really justify cognac for the rattle skull, but it sounds delicious. Could anything work in its place? Google says bourbon might not be a terrible replacement. Cheers bro
ОтветитьYou are THE BEST!! Can’t wait to make a cocktail for my beer drinking friends 🤗
ОтветитьThe Stone Fence was a very popular mixed drink in the Nineteenth Century. Westerns always show cowboys drinking, invariably, shots of whiskey or mugs of beer, but cocktails and punches were very popular. Buffalo Bill's favorite drink was a Stone Fence. There were no IPAs in the US in those days:: Milwaukee or St. Louis beers were far sweeter and lighter, by comparison, and the liquor of choice would have been bourbon, rum, or white whiskey.
ОтветитьThere's a drink I like to make I call a pink slut. 2 oz rum, 2 oz leinenkugel berry Weiss, 1 oz lime juice, .5 - 1 oz grenadine (preference, tho use 1 oz if you're using roses), .5 oz Cointreau. We call it a pink silk if present company warrants it.
ОтветитьI dislike hops. Can I sub in maybe a Hefeweizen ?
ОтветитьAlgorithm strikes again
ОтветитьTis the season to pump this vid!’
ОтветитьAs a German, the very idea of a beer cocktail is a contradiction in terms. Which means, of course, that I can't wait to try these. Except I don't like IPA. At all. But then I guess it's gonna be quite different in a cocktail. Whatever. To the bar...
ОтветитьOne pint get drunk lol
Ответитьi would put the syrup first, then the lime, then the cognac, then the rum, that way nothing will stick to the jigger. putting the syrop last is the worst because half of it will stay in the jigger!
ОтветитьGreat as usuals :)
Ответитьto me, nothing beats the picon bière.
ОтветитьCould we please get your Michelada recipe?!?! Please please please
Thanks!
I am watching this in late winter where I just want Spring and Summer and heat and light. I can say these are probably very good, but I don't want em right now. LOL. Maybe late summer when I am tired of being bug bit and hot.
ОтветитьPierre Ferrand isn't available where I live. What do you recommend in place of it?
ОтветитьHey Anders, what a great channel. Really like your presentation!
Quick question, What other type of beer would you recommend for the Lumberjack in Love. I’m late in the season to locate an Octoberfest beer.
Thanks and keep ‘em coming!
Pls more infos D: I'm from germany and i've got no idea what an IPA is supposed to be
ОтветитьI’ve only made the fence hopper but dang was that tasty! 🥃👍🍺
ОтветитьFor all the brits who are confused when he calls Cider "Hard Cider" that means it has alcohol in it while for us we call hard cider just cider, just a warning in case you put beer and cider in a cocktail cause I can tell you it will not taste good.
ОтветитьGreat channel and love me some Maplewood 🍺
ОтветитьRattle Skull is so tasty! Fall meets summer!
ОтветитьW wisconsin
ОтветитьThat fence hopper was just chef kiss👌
ОтветитьFound this video a couple weeks ago. Decided to try one of these for Thanksgiving. Just made a trial version of the Lumberjack In Love to try before the big day. Insanely good! Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat type of beer is the Octoberfest? I don't think we have that here in northern Europe 😁
ОтветитьI think you just sent me down the rabbit hole of cocktails and this channel with the rattleskull drink...uh oh
ОтветитьI really enjoy your videos! I really like a good hard cider so I immediately googled "Stone fence" when you mentioned it... Do you plan a video with hard caider based cocktails??
ОтветитьMade the Rattle Skull with Westbrook Brewing Mexican Cake. Fantastic
ОтветитьYour Fence Hopper is so good. I’ve never had a beer cocktail that I thought was better than a beer or a cocktail by itself. This is one is! I served these as a pregame to parents before trick-or-treating and everyone loved them. The comment was this is so autumnal!
ОтветитьOf all of your recipes, these are probably the ones I make over and over. That and YOUR version of the dark and stormy...it's a crowd favorite 🥳
ОтветитьI think I’m going to fall in love with the fence hopper!
ОтветитьHey!
Where is U-BOOT?
Lumberjacks in Love at the American Folklore Theatre. What great memories.
ОтветитьThe Rattle Skill is incredibly delicious. I used Appleton 12 since I don't have signature on hand and WOW. Oishii
ОтветитьSo are you a Giants fan then? They are doing pretty good this year.
ОтветитьHi Anders! I'm watching your videos almost since the beginning. Last night I tried out your Fence Hopper with a few friends and it was a huge success! Thank you for the great videos, sips, tips and recipes!
ОтветитьFence Hopper is maybe one of the best cocktail names ever invented.
ОтветитьThat rattleskull looks really good. I mainly drink stout beer so caught my eye.
The other ingredients sound interesting together. I really like cognac too and
lime is my favorite cocktail flavor
Wow, I can't believe I actually have everything I need to make a Fence Hopper! Maybe I'll try it out this weekend!
ОтветитьWe love the Rattleskull😊
ОтветитьMe seeing the thumbnail: You have my curiosity.
Me after the first drink: But now you have my attention.
what a great video just subscribed 😁🍺🍺 headed back to peru end of this month you should go into drinks from south america
ОтветитьJust did the rattle skull last night. Very delicious! Will become one of my favorites for sure!
ОтветитьRattleskull is a standard at the pub for me when im looking to drink but its also much more simple, just a squeeze of lime, shot of rum, then the porter.
ОтветитьMan, I always found mixing beer into cocktails successfully was an impossible task, but all these mixes just make so much sense!
Good work 👌🏻
