How to Solve a Megaminx! [Beginner Tutorial]

COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: What if I need to flip 1 or 3 edges only for the gray star?
A: Your megaminx is unsolvable, reassemble it as solved.

Q: What if I can match only 3 edges of the gray star?
A: Your megaminx is unsolvable, reassemble it as solved.

Q: What if only 1 gray corner isn't facing gray-up?
A: Your megaminx is unsolvable, reassemble it as solved or twist the corner if possible.

Q: The step where I get the gray corners to face up doesn't work.
A: Follow the steps carefully: finish the 4 moves without stopping after 3, and turn the bottom instead of the whole puzzle. If it still doesn't work, reassemble the cube as solved or twist the corners to fix the issue.

Q: The last step doesn't work?
A: Make sure you're alternating forward and backward when appropriate, and make sure the previous steps are completed. If it still doesn't work, reassemble your cube as solved.

When he says to “reassemble the cube as solved” does he mean actually take it a part and rebuild it?

I actually solved it on my own using the beginner 3x3 Rubik's cube algorithms and if it didn't work, then editing them a little and somehow it worked out

If the gray star edges do not match up with the colors after doing the algorithm,?

I just solved one of these without help, and there weren't too many differences, but this way will be easier. I flipped the last two steps and made s2l more complicated
