6 foot 8?! That would be extremely tall, even for a man. I'm a 49 y/o, 6'3" male, and I've never met a woman taller than me. She would be able to see over my head.

AVERY SKINNER BRINGING THE THUNDER ⚡⚡ When I saw her in VNL and quals, she really stood out as the potential go-to terminator this team has been sorely lacking. Only 6'1", but she GETS UP, and has this ability to hit OVER the block, and with authority! No other USA hitter has demonstrated this ability. Karch seems to recognize this as well. Forget Larson, and Cook. They are excellent players, but not effective/consistent terminators. Skinner and Plummer FTW🎉

I dont what womens basketball coaches are doing but I'd be recruiting volleyball players..Find me a girl who is 6'8 who can jump and has the athletism these girls have and ill teach you the game of basketball..I cant teach size and athletism..Id be at every volleyball practice recruiting.

That might be the least convincing 3-0 highlights ever. Plummer and/or Skinner have to start for this team to have a chance, but then the passing is too shaky considering Poulter can't even move. Also doesn't help that Justine is allowing Poulter to get first contact twice on the free ball and power tips while she's in the vicinity not even a minute and a half into highlights 🤦. Micah should be called back up as another injury replacement for Poulter, and she should be starting with Carlini as the #2.

Did Poland have a bad day or USA is just peaking at the right time.. either way, didn't see a 3-0 sweep coming, but phew, congratulations USA, this win is big coming into the semis.. Would hate to see either Brazil or USA out of the gold medal match this year..
