Good point. Thanks.
ОтветитьI get what he’s saying but….idk
ОтветитьI agree. MMA is harder on the body like bones, joints and ligaments but boxing is a recipe for having your brain turned into pudding
ОтветитьI get what hes saying. MMA is more violent in you can do more to hurt your opponent, but boxing probaly is worse for you long term.
ОтветитьNo it's not MMA more danguerus then boxing
ОтветитьTheirs difference your sleeping in mma
ОтветитьTheres a significant amount of deaths in boxing than mma
ОтветитьSpoken truly
ОтветитьLike it or not DC is on the money with this. Pretty much catching a 1# club upside the head over and over again and the tougher it is to ko a guy the biggest chance that you're giving him brain damage too.
ОтветитьBoth sports are very dangerous in their own ways. With that said I've personally seen more injuries in MMA than boxing 🤷♂️
ОтветитьBecause of punches thrown to the face and body all match. Leg kicks are a big part of mma as well.
Ответить🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
ОтветитьI like to train boxing twice a week for cardio. Bag work, mits, and Light sparring. But that’s where it ends.
ОтветитьMight be more dangerous, but mma is darn near the best martial art of all time, this coming from a guy who started boxing in 1995 and stopped training in 2015 , i love boxing don't get it twisted, but mma is the far superior martial art and for the last 3 years gets my ppv money when it comes to watching live combat sports , boxing has become pour all your money on one guy and One fight, decent card, ufc great cards, evenly matched bouts, every fighter gets exposure
ОтветитьMAKES SENSE I agree
ОтветитьMma is more violent but safer
ОтветитьPlus there’s more targeted on the body
ОтветитьLa mayor parte de los golpes en el boxeo son dirigidos hacia la cabeza, las contusiones son continuas y el daño cerebral es inevitable.
ОтветитьI’ve never seen anybody get killed in an octagon. Can’t say the same for a boxing ring. Obviously MMAs safer
ОтветитьBoxing you’re also taking continuous shots to the head, already concussed and what not. And it keeps going. Whereas MMA can end a lot quicker. Fights like Poirier and Hooker can def have a giant effect Hooker saying that fight took apart of him and he went on a losing skid afterwards, but in MMA as well heavyweights can stick around longer cuz if they get KO’d the fights over and they make a 3-4 month recovery and they can keep going, a lot better than continuous shots to the head like hooker vs Poirier and or boxing
ОтветитьNot sure Santos would agree after MVPs knee to the face 😵
ОтветитьBoth as dangerous as each other
ОтветитьShow me a MMa fighter with 80 fights
ОтветитьPereria/Jiri 2. He was done at the end of first round..and the beginning of the 2nd round proved this
ОтветитьNo way cuz there's nt always a knockout n UFC leg strikes, knee's 2 the gut stopped smoking that s!! DC WTF
ОтветитьYeah but a boxer can't kick your leg and end your career
ОтветитьLook at all the older boxers with CTE. As mma evolves and as mma fighters age we will see if we get many fighters that have that degree of CTE. So far it looks like they have been less effected.
ОтветитьGood point. Boxing is repeat concussions. Even if you win you likely took serious hits to the brain.
ОтветитьThere shouldn't be time limits or rounds at all and no judges . Fight until someone gives up or can't fight
ОтветитьThink if all of the fatalities from professional boxing , many people died in the ring and not any in the octogon
ОтветитьAlso.. boxers are really punching hard, the power punchers, most mma guys don't even throw punches properly
ОтветитьI don’t think so MMAis more dangerous in boxing, you have a time and space to wake up if you can continue OK no problem, but if you download down end of the fight but MMA different story I’m not stopping things lockdown or the second round that’s it
ОтветитьEven
Ответить😂the guy has CTE😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьGot a point
Ответить😂full ignorant
ОтветитьPeople die from boxing all the time. Boxing is a deadly sport. DC explained it really well! UFC is much more safe for the fighters.
ОтветитьThis person does not understand how head injuries (like concussions) happen.
When you get kicked in the head, or when you get pummeled while on the ground, your head is getting hit way harder and in the case of fighting on the ground it has nowhere to go, thus absorbing all of the shock from the impact of being punched.
This is objectively way worse for your brain and this is where you are most likely to get a concussion or worse.
Yea and not to mention, that alot of the fights end with just one shot or submission. So theres alot of fights that end and both fighters took minimal damage. Of course theres things like the bonnar v griffin spectacle but thats not the norm.
Ответить😂 IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW, ASK DON FRYE . BE WAS BOXING BEFORE HE FOUGHT NHB .
ОтветитьThey really thought Francis was the next big thing because he did good against tyson who didn't even train.
ОтветитьKickboxing also getting kicked in the head and knees with the same concept
ОтветитьGuys ear got knocked off in MMA like wtf
ОтветитьLethwei literally got you taking knockout naps before telling you to get back in to fight. Any combat sport with “counting” so you can go back in is inherently more dangerous than one where they just stop it immediately
ОтветитьGood arguments for both but at the end of the day neither are safe, they're combat sports 😂 that's why we like it
ОтветитьFor me it’s the sound effects 💀
ОтветитьBoxing gloves are way worse as well. You don’t cut opponents as easily and the padding helps protect your hands but every punch you land (even though the physical appearance of damage doesn’t look as bad as bare hand or mma gloves) the brain is still bouncing around inside the opponents head just as much. So their brain is taking more damage even though they may not be cut or swelled as bad. The gloves don’t stop the brain from bouncing all through their skull
ОтветитьBoxing dangerous bcz it has 15 rounds .or else mma is more dangerous
ОтветитьTotal Nonsense . Boxers have about 3 Times more fights than MMA fighters do for a Career . Most Great Boxers have between 50 - 100 Amateur Bouts before they even hit the Pros . That's why the Damage is More for Boxers . If MMA Fighters had 50 - 100 Amateur Bouts before they became Pro and had at least 50 or More Pro Fights ? They'd be Vegetables with the Brutality they face By Punches , and Whipping Elbows / Leg Kicks to the Head . The Diaz Bros are basically Punch Drunk and Slurring their words they've been smashed in the head so much from MMA .
ОтветитьHe's right
