Here in Richmond we don’t have running water. A main water pipe burst and the whole city and some surrounding county’s don’t have running water.

Im in central Wisconsin and for the last few years our winters have been mild. We still get cold but we dont get much snow. We havent received snow in the last month. We got a warm snap and melted almost all of the snow just before Christmas. So now its 15 degrees and brown. Its been like this for the last few winters now.

Im in oswego ny on lake ontario. It is fridged here. Make sure your dogs have jacket. And dont be shocked if they’re in and out a few times in a row. Thats what mine are doing. Out and then in to warm and back out.

I live in Kentucky. The schools were supposed to start back up on Jan. 7th after winter break but now we’re out for NTI. We don’t get no snow days this year like we did last year. We get one or two snow days but they decided these days will be NTI days. At least a lot of the work is super easy. lol. We’re probably going to be out for the rest of the week but idk.

If it's gonna be this Cold at least give us snow make it worth it

I don't see those negative temperatures being forecasted in Louisville, KY to the degree that is being shown in this video. Tues (today) high of 30 low of 20. Wed high of 26 low of 20. Thur high 25 low of 2, Friday high of 28 low of 12. Winds between 4-7 mph on average, so Thursday we could get some negative wind chills.

Another fear monger. Everyone is trying they're hardest to make us all fearful. It's winter and it's snowing.

If it weren't for various negative factors, I'd move to a warmer climate somewhere else in the world.
But you gotta weigh the pros & cons.. 🤷
.. it's just about what you're willing to deal with,
and as much as I REALLY hate the cold,
.. I'd rather deal with it than insects, etc which randomly get inside your home or yard and k ill you, ..or make you wish it had.

I still remember the snowmageddon in Georgia from 2014. I was in high school and we didn't have power for 6 days and then there was the earthquake! Hoping GA and other states are much more prepared this go around, even if this storm doesn't do anything that's being forecasted. Thinking of all our unhoused communities and hoping shelters are able to help out and keep them warm!!

Told everyone this winter was going to be really bad in August as our summer was not as hot as it normally is, when that happens we usually have a colder winter season

Love ya, Ryan, but the winter pattern isn't going to get worse. Its winter. This is what is supposed to happen. A few of us sweat all summer, praying for that winter morning with air that makes the hairs in your nostrils bristle. Winter without snowfall is lame.

I live in southern Indiana and work at Walmart. I was still expected to show up so I had to walk. I told my coworkers and managers that our homes should’ve been built more like Amish homes but with the added bonus of having electricity. That way, when weather like this happens, we can easily move through it.

Surprised you don''t have Indiana on the ice map. At one point Evansville had 60,000 without power and some won't have power until the weekend.
