A baby this debilitated and with this many issues should not be forced to suffer through this life. Living is a blessing but how could someone so far from a normal life even live blessed? Is it because they are breathing, or maybe they have a heartbeat? So the body is barely working and will never live even a partially normal life, so where is the soul? Trapped in the body.. I am in good shape and so are many of my friends, but we all agree life sucks and if it sucks for me, it must suck 10 million times more for these poor angels. I get parents want their kids and have these bonds with them, but you just seen them, you didn't go to prom with them. Send them on a first date, watch them go through school, teach them skills or catch them smoking some of gods grass. You did nothing so why be so selfish of your want to have them that you need to keep them here suffering on this floating rock? I've hurt, I've been sick, and I still laugh through it, but that doesn't mean there is not any pain just beyond the surface. People are in my opinion god's biggest failure on this earth. Why give life of pain and suffering? People say they believe in God, they go to church every Sunday and Wednesday, give offering, praise the lord every day and yet not one of them wants to die. They say heaven is perfect, but earth is where they want to stay. Why live a life of lies? You lie to yourself every time you speak on how amazing you are for keeping the baby, yet the baby lives a life of pain to please your need to have them and care for something?

I’m so sorry for your loss. I too lost a baby due an abnormalities. He would’ve had no quality of life if he survived. I’m not condemning your decision to continue with your pregnancy. Every woman should have choice and dominion over their bodies and their lives. You chose the option that was the best for you. I wish you and your family well. Love and healing.

I was 5 months and 30 days when we found out our baby had the same thing. We had to decide that night what to do because at 12 midnight I would be 6 months. They said she would not survive 3 hours and she would suffer. If I had known that I could have a couple of weeks with her, I might have kept her. I am so happy you had this precious time with your daughter.

Beautiful baby I know people won't agree but that smile is beyond the heavens. You are very caring, and loving parents, and even if it was a short time with her she is happy knowing you loved her like she lived a whole lifetime. She was letting you know that and showed you happiness, and love back. I believe God will give children who didn't live their lives another chance in some way. We shouldn't judge people by the outside cover. We are souls with in a body. God bless you, and your family.

I see how you were caring about her when she made a small grunting and you stop immediatly your caress, fearing that she was feeling bad.

Anyway.. in Texas families cannot even make this choice. They are forced to continue the pregnancy. That’s barbaric and cruel. No freedom in forcing this fate on others that cannot emotionally or financially handle it.
I’m glad the family in the video were given the choice and not forced into this.
