Had a old wurt save that had a amazing swamp biome completely guarded by a massive pig guard set piece that made it hard to use. Think it was definitely glitched since i don’t remember there being any forest near by

I have a tip: When I played Dont Starve single, I usually let a weak boss (such as moose goose) fight the guardian pigs (they usually win) and then I kill the survivors and then when they all die, I block off all the torches with walls. Once they respawn, you have an infinite light source and even if you put gates down, free meat (or free fighting labor). If you don’t want too much as they can hit through walls, hammer the ones you don’t want. Just a tip for those single players. (Idk if this works in dst)

Wouldn't it be possible to imprison them somewhere far off via wearpig hearding or telelocator staff and get to use the torch area freely 🤔

I wonder how good their pathing is? Like for example if you were to teleport them to the other side of the island via Telelocator Staff.

What is the mod for setpieces

I really hope they take another look at these guys in future updates. Merms have a version of these now, but they can actually be befriended, and players can build an army of them. Might as well give the pigs an upgrade and keep the war even. That or make the strange pig talesmen item more common and better. Using a few of them on bosses could replace a merm army, but I can never seem to get more than a few, even in my long-running world.
