Sea of Stars is certainly in my Top 5 along with Dead Space Remake.

Hi-Fi Rush was my GOTY followed by Gravity Circuit. Glad to see them both get recognition.

While there is something to be said about SM2 placement, I have to strongly disagree with FF16 placement. FF16 is amazing and should be at the least top 5.

I think Whatculture is going to regret putting Alan Wake and Baldurs Gate over Tears of the Kingdom. TOTK was an incredible game that iterated perfectly on the original and also launched in an incredible state. It's a game that let you build anything you could imagine, and the system worked almost perfectly. It will lose GOTY this year because people didn't know how good they have it and then win game of the decade because we will all come to our senses. BG3 was a great CRPG, but that's a pretty inaccesible genre, and Alan Wake will be forgotten in a few months, but is hot right now because of recency bias.
