Hey will! Do you need to learn piano or any instrument for that matter as a prerequisite to making trance/edm/techno? I’m inspired by Armin Van Buuren, Rezz, Charlotte De Witt, etc. I’ve never learned music theory or an instrument for that matter, and if it’s necessary to learn, does that mean you also need a piano or can you do it within Ableton Live digitally?
