I went beginning of February. Such a nice city.

Compared to our city, there were no potholes and streets were super clean. Not a homeless person in sight.

But with those positives, there is one hidden con i recently learn when i came back. And that it has a big migrant issue of slave workers. They just hide it so well, from the tourists.

The snow Park is not in Dubai Mall.
It is in Mall of the Emirates.

I live here. Interesting fact: there are 7 times more foreigners in Dubai than local

Dubai is amazing, in every sense of the word and a once-in-a-lifetime experience that must not be missed. When you wish to see something larger than life, Dubai is the place for you.

Actually the capitol of UAE is Abu Dhabi

One fact in this list that is no longer true is the taxes. People who live in Dubai now have to pay taxes. Not too sure exactly when that was instated, but I know this because I work with a young lady who lives in Dubai, but has come to Canada for her education. All of her family still resides in Dubai. This is one place I want to get to for a long lol vacation! What a beautiful city!!

One thing not mentioned. When a foreign worker (foreign workers make up about 99.9% of the work force) becomes retirement age, that person cannot retire in Dubai. I took a two day layover there and was blown away about the shopping mall. Though I didn't stay in the most expensive hotel, I still was treated very well and know that I will be back some day. Also I was told there is a nice size shopping mall only for women and girls.

Iam from Cyprus but my favourite countries are unique Australia, spectacular Norway and lovely Brazil
