This is EXACTLY what I need to work on right now to send my humble 5c ^^ as you're saying, the campus board is a bit scary at first, for me as a relative beginner, because I'm afraid to injure my fingers. But taking it slowly, I think it's a great way to work on explosivity. Gonna try that tomorrow, thanks for the inspiration! 🤜🤛
ОтветитьNice video 👍
ОтветитьHiya Chloe I’m glad you found it useful! :) I’m psyched you want to try and get better at big moves! If you are a relative beginner to climbing I would only use the finger board or campus board if you have been climbing for two years (and are over 18) as there is a lot of force on your fingers. If you have been climbing for less time you can practice being more dynamic on the wall first. You can then work up to the campus board and slowly start on the big sloppers with feet on and progress to feet off moves. I keep saying about taking it easy as honestly it’s awful when you get a finger injury. So stay safe and hope you enjoy your climbing!
ОтветитьYou've also learned that you need to generate momentum using your legs. By placing feet to high or in far side positions hinder your ability to thrust your body upward. Thanks for the great vid.
ОтветитьThe intro got me! Great video 😊
Ответитьi'm 5'8 with a negative 3.5 ape index. it hurts seeing my boyfriend (who is at the same height) with a positive 3.5 ape index. it really feels so awesome to finally try to add some dynamic movements in my typically static climbing. the gym makes it feel a lot safer than pulling it outside first. helped sooo much to finally work with my disadvantages instead of shrugging it off and saying that its just my shitty ape index.
ОтветитьBoom nice one at sorted your project. ✊
Good one campusing find so good as you say for dynamic far reach, I climb mostly trad yeah not always the time to be launching for holds. 😄
Awesome video! I really loved watching your process! Power is the death of me and I'm trying to get better, so it's cool to see this training worked for you!
ОтветитьAwesome stuff! Truly inspiring to see the progression.
ОтветитьYou should try moonboard!
ОтветитьVery useful channel! Thank you!
ОтветитьI was wondering if you tried board training and if so, how it compared with your campus training and bouldering outside?
Ответитьgood quality content thank you
