Good advice, though. It's unfortunate creators can't "keep it real" in certain situations, but that's because the troublemakers have no interest in acting in good faith themselves. You can only have dialogue when both parties are on the level. Glad she's figuring ways out to reduce the potential misery!

This is why I say the worst thing you can do to a public figure, is to ignore them.

From my limited experience looking at drama communities, the stuff they can come up with nearly out of thin air is crazy, and they don't really need evidence to stick, some things are just "sticky" so acknowledging them is tricky and could go either way, her only real defense is to be more entertaining intentionally than unintentionally so people are more inclined to see you as innocent until proven guilty.
