Frame and cockpit size matters alot for your default attack position, right?

So is there any way to get in the ballpark of the right size bike for you - besides just feel?

As soon as anyone starts talking neutral spine I'm out. Neutral spine is from the 90's! Your spine is never in neutral. It may pass through it on the way to some other position, but it never stays there.

i think this is the year i also begin to nerd out on it XD. my biggest problem is that i get too excited and just ride with no thought which is good and all but this i feel like this is the key to unlocking a whole box of ability. great vid btw <3

Love your videos when they are so technical. I'm 45 average rider, and trying to improve my flatter back position. I'm 5'10" longer legs/shorter torso, are these proportions worse for learning the flatter back mtb position? Due to my proportions i've downsized from L to a Medium YT Jeffsy Mk3 to gain some maneuverability, do you think is it better a longer or shorter reach to learn/improve the flatter back position? Thanks

This video is awesome. I feel like I did what you did in 2021, but not as fast. I have that arm position, but my back is rounded. I've been working on leaning more so I can hit berms faster, but I think I should focus on my position more. Also I think I think my mind is still holding me back.
