I remember when this record came out I thought it would suck. I was so wrong.
ОтветитьGuy sings "exeunt" - which ties with the song's title and theme, originally a stage direction meaning to exit - thinking it is pronounced "eks-YOONT" with an emphatic "-ah" at the end (remember "but not religoooouuus-ah" from Do You Like Me), even though it is pronounced "EKS-ee-unt". That should settle it for anyone wondering what he sings at the beginning.

ОтветитьBest Fugazi song and album to exist..hands down

ОтветитьOne of my favorite highlights of this album was the slow fade-in of the opening track "Exit Only" and its "Exeunt' (sp?) opening chant/mantra!

ОтветитьA band of ass kickers. This makes me sound old but I miss the days when most music had a message or at least shared a story.
