fixing black characters with the racist triangle

The fact I just found out about this triangle when I've been drawing for my entire life. I just draw all features individually like how I see it fits the character. Because everyone's face is unique.

I have never used the racist triangle because I have drawn like 4 side profiles, and 3 were of the same character, and I don't use the triangle method.

Legit hearing about this for the first time (trust me), but I've noticed a similar issue in video game character creation. Seems like it's been changing for the better in recent years but for a long time, you could only make a black character if you were happy with them looking like a white/Asian guy with dark skin and dreadlocks awkwardly stapled to his head.

After drawing since i was able to get a pencil and hand paint, never think so much in a rule. Yes they teach me lots, and i hate them, each single one, but this os your hate with mine, so good experience as an impulsive almost sadist person, but considered comedic by almost everyone. Manga drawings exxagerate eyes to "look like western ppl, watever they say or conspirator’s sayings…a lot of east asians die for big, colorful eyes, so they want, they buy the fantasy in manga and anime and those naked dolls embossed in pillows…Whatever they always have been racist or how many ppl say " colorist ". And i think we all come from the same specie so all are the same all humans adapte to spaces situations etc in centuries so of cour skin, faces features variates…. But the core of the DNA is equal in a big percent….read the scientific news…in fisical formal not internet polluted with disinformation or ignorance, or is bought by xx, like the physical, so buy one you use to rely and see the page , feel like nothing changed.

From an artist perspective, thanks for reminding people that rules are meant to be bent and broken. Understand them and know their utility but also move beyond them so that you aren't limited by them. Art is supposed to be unlimited creativity.

To me the point is don't try to adhere to rules before knowing the basics. That's one of the reasons why they don't want you to draw anime in art school. I don't draw anime and I noticed this difference in structure quite a bit of time ago just by LOOKING at people, looking at references, studying different faces. If your only reference and model is anime you may never learn to draw people who aren't often portrayed in that kind of media and this doesn't only apply to race. Age and body shape are some other things that you'd better study from life.
