Hi guys, I´m in for the Milwaukee and I find the brushless tools more quiet and lighter in hand
ОтветитьThe discussion of brushedvs Brushless is not the same as the Handsaw VS circular saw.... hundreds of thousands of homes have been built with brushed powertools at a rythm and pace that could be compared as if was with non brush powertools.... just marketing stuff. Not that saying that i am denniying the obvious advantages of brushless tools but, as a 3rd world country fellow even pros still using brushed tools because of the high price + imports, and they still delivering a hgigh quality and fast paced work.
But yeah, good explanation, im going to share it with some friends.
Thank you very much for the information and description of each type also comparation between brushes motor and brushless motor 🙏🏼😁
ОтветитьGreat explanation. Thank you!
Ответитьbrill, thanks
ОтветитьExcellent video.
Ответитьfemale didn't invent this
ОтветитьWell presented. I listened to a guy with a PHD trying to present the same thing. Well anyways. Nicely explained. Thank Yoi.
ОтветитьRespect how you broke this down for us! Love the fact that you didn't just explain but you took the tool apart so we could see! 👏🏽 I said hell yeah!! 😂 This is exactly the information I needed to understand these tools!! 🥲
ОтветитьCool vid but I really wanted to know bout the noise level of the two. I want the quieter of the two and if brushless is quieter how much quieter....If on a scale of 1-10 brushed is 10 in terms of noise level then brushless would be...what number.....
ОтветитьI love this channel
ОтветитьVery helpful. As a DIYer, not worth the extra cost.
ОтветитьThanks for the explanation
ОтветитьThank you so much for your content. I just bought a new house and am moving my business into a new commercial space with a lot of DIY work ahead of me. You do such a wonderful job explaining your content and it's a relief to have a trustworthy source of it. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьThis is a fantastic description. I’ve owned these tools for years and I’ve never actually understood the difference between the classic brushed tool and the brushless. And yeah switching up brushes it’s pretty easy to do. I used to do it all the time on my Milwaukee drills and my Milwaukee saws all’s. Thanks for the great description
ОтветитьVery helpful for understanding
ОтветитьGreat explanation. I'm a professional, I prefer dewalt, even if I was just a DIYer I would go with brushless. They're just superior to brushed tools
ОтветитьBrushless => This is the way!
ОтветитьI do like milwaukee but most contractors and pros use DeWalt like 99 percent or Hilti for the real expensive specialist hey at least you didn't try and push Ryobi lol
ОтветитьI’m an ex-framer and now deliver/build furniture, & this is a beautiful explanation
ОтветитьGreat explanation !
ОтветитьOne area I think is fair to touch on is safety. Brushless drills have much higher torque at low RPM, making it so that you don't need to hit the tigger as hard to drill through tough materials. In most cases, the drill will apply more torque and drill past any kinks without the drill suddenly stopping the way brushed motors would.
Brushless drills bring a lot more control at low RPM, and lowers our dependency to floor the trigger just to get more power from the drill to work through kinks. To me that's a safety feature worth the investment.
I bought the XR set it is amazing.
ОтветитьExcellent video. Thank you for explaining, very helpful.....and I'm a girl!!😂
ОтветитьAhhhhhhmazing! Very well explained. You have helped countless individuals, no doubt about it. Thanks!
ОтветитьI’m autistic but love me some diy around my house. To me it actually made sense. Now I gotta get me a dewalt setup 😅
ОтветитьVery good!
ОтветитьVery nice video, made me understand that not all the time when you see a bundle it means you are getting the best tools in the line up of that brand, is someting we have to keep in mind if you wanna spend more for something that will last longer.
ОтветитьI have been lately upgrading my old DeWalt brush tools for more modern xr stuff and i think they are much better. I can find second hand xr tools for a decend price and at the same time people who don't know much details about tools are willing to buy my stuff for a high price just because they think DeWalt is a good brand.
For example i bought good condition xr 18v brushless drill with 2 batteries for 100 dollars and sold 6 years old 14.4v drill with 2 batteries for 70 dollars. There is a huge difference on tool performance but minimal difference on costs
So non-working power tools doesn't necessarily mean they're damaged maybe just replacing those brushes might fix them again.
ОтветитьOhhh brother !!! where have u been all this while… subbed ! Brief, straightforward and useful .
ОтветитьNice vid ok son....
ОтветитьBrushless motors failure point can be engineered to fail when they want. That little brain is the weak spot and if/when it goes out YOu can't buy brushes or clean it like a brushed motor to fix it.
Remember the 15.00 per bulb Lights that burned out faster than a conventional bulb? There was a weak spot engineered to fail in those. Same thing with brushless. They need to recoup costs and make money, they do not want tools to last a long time anymore. Its not a money maker.
If you brush your teeth you should go with a brushed drill. If you are toothless you should buy a brushless motor.
Love my brushed drill.
Thanks for the info. still not sure what I need.
ОтветитьAs a union electrician my job doesn’t need fancy big tools… my ego does 😢😅😂
Ответитьi prefer makitas naming system. if the tool is brushless it just says BL on the tool itself and they all use the same batteries
ОтветитьGreat video, thx for the info
ОтветитьI mean I thought I had an idea of the differences but Sam this video was so extremely informational and you just gained another subscriber lol!!
ОтветитьYour information is always good and helpful 👍
ОтветитьMy father has a lot of early 2000’s Dewalt stuff and I can’t remember a time when they DIDNT spark or smell lol. I’ve been trying to convince him to go brushless 20V Max with me but he is unsure. He was thinking about going Milwaukee since everyone at work is on the red team. If you are smart about what line and specific models you get into, Dewalt is fantastic. I have just about everything I feel I need other than a DCD998 and 887. Also need to pick up a Recip saw, gonna go power detect since that is the only on that has good ergos. The others feels like garbage.
ОтветитьAwesome vid dude, thanks
ОтветитьI remember my dad's electric drill as a kid. It was his father's before him. I would turn out the lights in the garage and thought it was cool to see the sparks through the cooling vents. The more I squeezed the trigger, the bigger/more sparks I could see. At 49, TIL the brushes were worn out and needed to be changed lol.
ОтветитьI like to get brushless tools new, and brushed tools used, because you can fix a brushed motor by just getting new brushed. If you have a bad brushless motor, you have to redo the wiring of the motor.
ОтветитьGood video… I will subscribe. I perform small handiwork jobs and love the side, work construction business even though I run landscaping company. Thanks for the info and I will be watching from now on.
ОтветитьThanks 😊
ОтветитьHi! I had a brushed Bosch cordless drill for some time and recently I bought a brushless Bosch. I was curious about this "more efficient" claim and I did a short experiment to measure the current consumption. The result was surprisingly the other way round, the brushless drill eats more amps compared to the brushed one from the same battery! See video on my channel...
Ответитьif your a professional, you will want brushless, as your battery will last many times longer. if your a home user, its probably not worth it to get brushless.
