I find it funny that people continue to think people did nothing back in the day. ofc they didn't have a phone or music or cars or anything with them so they were always finding things to do. the old west wasn't just drinking in a bar and just riding in a wagon all day. they actually had the time to appreciate things so they made use of wtv they did
