Why so many HDMI ports? Why not ditch HDMI completely and just include DisplayPort?

When you switch to the PC, does the laptop keep getting power?

What this is missing is dual usb type c. This way two laptops can be connected and charging at same time without the need of power supplies

I need to connect one USB keyboard and one USB mouse to one desktop with TWO monitors (extended, not mirrored) and one laptop. Is this possible and if so, how? Thanks!

It looks like this KVM docking station only has one USB-C input, how does the second computer connect? Im looking for something with 2 USB-C inputs, 1 for each computer.

this device seems to be very good, only 1 thing, it does not share cable internet for both pcs, only laptop! so i have to buy internet cable splitter to connect both devices with cable internet... also 1 question, does it support wide screen monitors (3440x1440)? i have wide screen dell monitor and LG 4k monitor...

does connecting the lan port to the switch allows both laptop and desktop to have internet connection?

60W charging through USB C seems a bit low. I use an Dell Precision 5550 which charges with 90W. I'm not sure if 60W will not still drain the battery if it's under load.

This device seems to be pretty impressive. However, Displayport 2.1 or at least HDMI 2.1 would be even better. USB-C Power Delivery is a cool thing though.

Why do you use an USB-B port? Spending a fortune on a device with an outdated port doesn‘t sound reasonable. Surely, there is a reason?
