ASICS Glideride Max Review

This one or the Hoka Skyflow? I'm 125 lb and my runs are not so long...just like 7 miles.

Hey Alastair - Can I purchase this when compared to Nimbus 26, I have a ultra marathon coming and I need a shoe that is an upgrade from Nimbus 25, and has good cushioning + a bit of performance orientation. I underpronate...... or may be you can recommend a different shoe altogether

Does it fell faster than Asics Kayano 31?

Would this be a good shoe for walking a lot? I’m hoping to find a shoe that I could take with me on trips for a lot of walking but that I could also use for slow easy runs so that I can pack lighter. These look interesting to me. I’ve tried NB 1080s but my feet get fatigued pretty easily. I also over pronate, but I find stability shoes too firm so I’d rather go for a plush and neutral shoe that I can modify with an insert.

I have a pair of shoes Glideride 3 and I feel very comfortable; I’m going to buy a pair of shoes Glideride Max and I expect to have an improvement with Glideride Max that compensate the higher price ?

How is it compared to sb2? I have sb2 but as much as i am enjoying the pace it hurts on the mid foot early in every runs, was thinking if glideride max or glycerin max would pose the same issue or not. Am a slight supinator as well if the info helps

Is it forefoot or heel strike shoes. And what it are changes from Nimbus 26 and NB4?

Thanks for the great review. I am slightly an underpronator. This is going to be definitely my long easy run shoe. Another shoe I am considering is Puma Magmax. What are your thoughts on Saucony Hurricane 24 vs the Glideride Max?

I actually have a brand-new pair of these but have barely had a chance to wear them -- was mostly looking for a more responsive companion to the Novablast 4, which has been my main long-run training shoe. Just curious, how do you think they compare to the Novablast? (Trying to decide what I'll be running in this weekend!) Thanks much.

Can they be used for very slow running?
