No talent Ego maniac. I mean for real I’m the level of the most famous musicians ever he has to be the least talented. Millie Vanilie (spell?) had more talent. They actually eventually had to learn how to song their one hit wonder in English when they were German. Sid could barely play bass and definitely couldn’t sing. As Steve Jones said about Sid “he couldn’t play a note but he definitely had the face for it”. He did look punk but that was about it. Just people idolize someone who treated a lot of people badly. I mean he killed Nancy. I don’t care how messed up he was. He was known to be violent. They were just super toxic.

I loved the whole punk phenomenon that took place back in the mid to late seventies and there was genuinely some great music from bands like the pistols the class the dammed and the buzzcocks and obviously many many others but sid vicious on his own na not for me just rubbish if he hadn’t have stepped in to matlocks shoes as the bassist for the band and had made his own music as just a solo artist no one would have here’d of him cos his music would not have got airtime cos it was that bad

According to the SP members and all the other people involved in that story, Sid wasn't like that in their videos, this is just his "public image", it was just a publicity stunt by McLaren aimed to fools audience and all of it was just a game for him. Sid was a young boy, very shy, bread by a junkie mother without a father, manipulated by his management and also by his schizophrenic girlfriend, he died at the age of 21, don't forget it. The real punk attitude character is John Lydon.
