10 Types of Business Partners

I started with partnership out of lack of capital/ money. I eventually use all my connections, skills etc in which he lacks or doesn’t have. Currently I still need it BUT I do 95% of the work. He just helps “when needed” financially. 50-50 profit. I can’t stand alone bec I still lack the resources. I’m just burnt out. This person ignores me 80% of the time. NOT ANSWERING phone calls.Unseen messages or not replying to think we only have verbal agreement that makes me wonder why he is not even worried of his investments. Everything is documented. i’m transparent regardless he is not checking anything. I try my best to communicate to get hos point of view but lets me decide on everything. I want him involved. I’m not compensated. He expects it 50-50 bec of the money involved. I put money on it as well. I’m trying to justify his actions bec I needed the money/ capital to operate.

I’m too tired already but can’t let go as of now. I already told him my concerns same. I do marketing, operations, accounting, logistics, etc. He only helps when I say we are short of money.

I’m starting to compensate myself without him knowing bec he expects equal profit without lifting a finger. I don’t even ask refunds of business trips I do to close deals and this person don’t even bother and yet both of us always gets the benefit. And all bec he covers financial “when needed” I still find it unfair.

Has anyone got any experience with having a ‘leaner’ business partner?? I have just split from a partner who was leaning, I am now trying to buy him out & struggling to get him to see the difference in value input from both sides.

What happens when you address the issues multiple times but the same behavior continues ? I’ve been struggling with this problem of giving people a chance to grow & develop but at the same time I feel myself suffering due to that same reason because I feel as if I’m being held back while trying to grow the company

Here s a scenario
Company X

Partner 1 will invest his full time in the company

Partner 2 Owns another company but wants to come join company X as he doesn't see his company making good money. He will not invest his full time in the company.

Partner 3 has a regular job and won't be a full time as well.

So how do you suggest, partnership %, profit and operation expenses % to be shared would work.

Idea of the company was of only Partner 1.
Partner 2 and 3 says they will only join company full-time when there is enough profit and won't join until then.
Also, when they see profit and join they would want additional share.

What kind of breakup should be made for profit, expenses, and how to take it forward?

I'm starting my own cosmetic line and I really wanted my one friend to be my business partner because she took a college course in cosmetics, but she has put no money towards the business and I put a total of $800 she keeps saying that she can't fund the business because she's too poor yet she can afford to buy takeout weekly and wants to spend her entire tax return on a stuffed animal... She's 25.. where I spend my entire tax return on funding the business.
