I saw this tour in Detroit at Cobo Hall. I remember the review in the Detroit News describing Getty Lee’s voice like “a cat sliding down an aluminum gutter drain pipe”. Haha.

Just about the set for 'All The World's A Stage' Rush's first live album! I wore that double record out when it came out. I cut my young guitar teeth on this one. Thank you so much for posting this! I miss 'By-Tor and the Snow Dog' and 'Working Man' though!

I love the Alex Boss CS1 chorus and EHX Electric Mistress tones from AFTK and late 1977 onwards, but I think it's really nuts that he stopped using his Maestro phaser ALTOGETHER after it drenched so much of those first 4 albums. Listen to how much it's there on their most apex stuff, 2112, Something For Nothing, Anthem, Fly by Night, Lakeside Park, In The End, Necromancer, so so many songs. Weird how he Just got rid of this unreal tone altogether....

Nobody that I’ve seen can play like this anymore the seventies were truly magical and this band right up there with the greats. Rush from Canada very underrated but they had millions of fans I hope the younger ones will find these guys because they were perfect.

Phenomenal! 2112 is some of the best drumming I've ever heard! It's a fun and powerful song for drummers to attempt as well. the guys made em sing!
