10 Games I COULDN'T Platinum

What games did you give up on? 👇🏼

I also bought the GTA Trilogy and also hated the GTA 3 (Ps2 port) I gave up on that platinum too. I used even cheat in the book too. I was miserable playing it. No GPS, constantly looking at my phone every few seconds to find collectibles or just get around the map or complete the missions. I gave up on it and also Vice City (which I did like alot). I did plat San Andreas, which isn't saying much since that was the easier of the 3. I did buy the Definitive Collection (on sale) but since I hated 3, I'm not in a rush to play it any time soon. However I do look forward to the quality of life changes, so maybe. And I will try to plat the definitive trilogy. Bully is another PS2 port I gave up on near the end. I promise to finish the story at least and never just abandon a game. But some plats I had to give up on

Only 1 trophy needed for Rainbow six. 3 years trying to get gold rank. It's quite impossible for me. At the start of a new season you always starts in Copper f*cking 5 and its a looooong way up to gold! I played the game already for 2000 hours! Yes, 2 0 0 0!! I will still play this game, because it's one of my favourites but i don't know when or how tf i gonna get gold and the plat!

That's why I don't care if I get the platinum. There's no way I could not pay the Witcher 3 bc the of tedious and long the platinum is. I'll just pay through the campaign, beat it and move on. If a game had multiple playthroughs or play on the hardest difficulty or mp trophies, I'll just get everything I can in a single playthrough and then move on.

As somone who platniumed BO3 .. DO NOT GO FOR PLATNIUM LOL its so bad the personal decorator trophy.. it is one of my proudest platniums bysides BO4 and IW but if u not a die hard COD trophy hunter like me do not attempt 😂

I agree with what you said about Witcher 3.
I've tried to get through that game multiple times now and it's an incredibly dull experience. I'm not even talking about the platinum, just playing through the game to the end. The story, the world and especially the combat, are all really poorly done. I honestly think Cyberpunk 76 was more interesting and that's truly the worst representation of that entire genre to date.
These might be amazing PC games but let's face it, the bar is set incredibly low.

My dude. If you want the Platinum for Killing Floor 2, my friends and I literally created a group called The Killing Four. We all got the Platinum. It was sort of an initiation. One of our friends sadly isn't in the group anymore, but I'm sure it would be pretty easy to convince the other guys to play it again at some point.

I totally understand the Killing Floor 2 platinum. The collectibles are a TOTAL grind but trust me, it’s not that difficult. Maybe one day you’ll decide to go for it, but it is not that fun at the end :(

Before the definitive edition came out I got platinum for gta 3, vice city and SA, and I was not about to platinum them again even thought they were fun to do.

with battlefield 3 you should prob do it sooner, EA has been shutting down older servers lately, if you really have that type of Motivation to do it still

The only thing that stops me from the plat for BioShock Infinite is 1999 mode....without using a dollar bill machine (provided the difficulty ones stack).

You'll need only one walkthrough for The Witcher III. Choose the highest difficulty and unlick the "Gourmet" skill ASAP. At level 27 the difficulty will decrease onto normal. Only ten trophies are missable, you'll have to find all Gwint cards, which is easier than you think, win the Gwint tournament, complete two monster tasks in a special way and the others are only side quests you'll have to look for. You can put the difficulty down if you beat the main quest. To get all trophies incl. all from the DLCs it took me 200+ hours.

I understand that multiple playthroughs for Detroit: Become Human seems annoying along with collectibles but it's actually not that hard. it's still easier compared to games like Dark Souls and God of War

Got platinum in Fall Guys. Wasn't too tough. The hardest is getting 5 wins in a row, but that's not too difficult. The secret is to play the short special rounds that ends quickly. I did team games, so you were likely to win. 50 - 50 chance.

I got platinum in Bioshock 3. It was easy and fun. Enjoyed everything.

I have done siege by complete accident lol.

Whenever I give up a Platinum I at least make sure to get all the collectible and miscellaneous challenge trophies.
That way I can at least say I gave the game my best shot even if I never speedrun the game in 5 hours on the highest difficulty with permadeath or some other nonsense.

2 replays on Detroit... oh my sweet summer child 😅 I had like 2 complete and 4-5 partial playthroughs... I am not saying I hate this game, but thats true that it wasnt always a good experience... But it wasnt as bad as for example Heavy Rain... that also had like 5-6 playthroughs to get the platinum and it wasnt that good... I felt the age of the game on me... On recent story driven games I had a similar feeling in Quarry. I loved Until down, even with the platinum... but Quarry... jeeez. I put 50!!! hours into that game, and felt like Dobby from HP at the end... "Dobby is free!!!" 😅 Btw Fall guys is the typical game, where I played a bit and I was like nah, i will never even try to platinum it... And there are actually 2 different Fall guys... so i have one 19/35(old) 11/35(new) but there is a trophy to win 5 episodes in a row... I never won even 1, so... 😅
btw I love the original LEGO SW games... so I bought Skywalker saga... and oh god... over 100 hours, not a good experience in the end :(

The fallguys trophy is ridiculous easy nowadays. It feels like it discredited the people who got that trophy before it was that easy.

Witcher 3 is big but only need 1 Playtrough on deathmarsch with good savestates if you are not used to play this game but playing this game on deathmarsch is the best experience of this game because you are forced to use alle expects of this game. Try it will be fun.

So technically you COULD platinum most of these... 🙄

Lets face it zombies isnt the thing standing in the way of BO3 platinum. If you ever need a squad holla could do them in one game. Its a grind. Fallguys is an easy plat these days

I platinumed Detroit Become human, I understand that it is very hard 😭 i got the platinum on the fourth playtrough, Did I like it? Yes. Would I do it again for the first time? No.

While I definitely have some games I just don’t want to go back to, a lot of my trophy lists are unplatinumable because of offline servers such as Midnight Club LA, Mad Max, and Friday the 13th. Really pisses me off.

Got my fall guys platinum by luck 😂 did it when you could choose to only play survival rounds and i won 5 in a row (the stage where you have to jump over the rotating beam)

Infinite is so good tho, I don't understand why people say it's bad
If anything, the original Bioshock is so derivative in terms of story of System Shock 2 that it really was the lesser of Infinite. At least Infinite's story was original

Geez, I've not only got the platinum, but 100% for Bioshock Infinite, GTA 3, BO3, Fall Guys, Witcher 3 and KF2. The other 4 I don't have only because I haven't played them.
