It's actually very hard to go for head shot from long distance as mcree, ashe and widow can just zoom in and make the target hitbox much larger

I find that playing cass with the ideology of getting kills can be more detrimental than helpful in some cases. It ends up having him need to walk out of cover or use his roll to secure a kill making him extremely vulnerable and easily punished by dive characters. For me a better mindset would be playing to "apply pressure", as two shots landed on the enemy means they now have to retreat, find cover, and heal up before they can reengage, buying your team valuable time for cooldowns, healing, etc.

Is it possible to be a good Cassidy player (GM level) even with a lower sensitivity?

One big big thing to ad is that unless you are fighting a widow or are low hp you almost always want to use movement that make aiming as easy as possible which includes mirroring the enemy, a lot of times standing still or just strafing very widely in order to not disrupt your aim. Since you can 2 shot almost any squishy you have the advantage in most raw duels if you just hit your shots. So do everything in your power to actually hit them.


Another big thing with cass is that taking angles mid fight will drastically improve the difficulty of the shots and the value you get mid teamfight since you will inevitably split the enemies attention. That tip does not only go for cass but for any overwatch hero since all overwatch is, is just timing and angles. If you master that concept you master the game.

Love the video but when trying to transfer the advice to myself, I feel like my aim has gotten worse when removing(feels like it atleast, missing shots I wouldn't when having the "check" phase) the "checking" phase of flicking, Just a fix for this is to play more/get more used to it or do you have anything you could share on it that would help?

Every now and again, I'll slip into that mindset and be hitting all kinds of shots (mostly body shots but I compensate with the bomb when I can)..tho I lose it and don't get it back for awhile. Can't understand why that happens lol

This muscle memory hero really shows sensitivity problems, I've lowered my sens and my flicks are to short now while the game is easier to read with the slower screen movement.
