Are the guys going to parge the block walls around the perimeter ?

Those men are really getting the flooring of the pool done fast. It looks big, that's going to be a lot of fun to swim in. I don't know which spot you should put the basic shower. Seems like close to the house would be better, but it is up to you and your wife because it's your house. Perhaps build a concrete path to and from the pool to also help with not tracking in mud or dirt. Or plant a lot of grass. I've gotten out of swimming pools and walked in the grass surrounding the pool and just walking in it dried my feet off.

Make sure the chandelier is strong enough to hang someone from !

Pool is looking beautiful and this will obviously be the centre piece of your yard. Great planning.

Just a suggestion on the poolside tiling.
On the far side one meter tiling woukd be fine for the daily job of cleaning the pool.
Though on the house side I'd kick out especially at the wall end in order to put sunbeds and have a general party area where you can kick back and relax.
If you look at any pool around the world it always has a larger area of tiling for R&R.

Hello Mike . Well the pool ( sunken area)is going to look very nice mate and a great place to hang out . Yes it is very hot this time of year and makes any sort of work and gardening .(l've found) very difficult to do particularly where I am living close to the ocean . Soil is mostly very sandy loam up here and the water table down about 7 metes. Your very lucky with the water table depth . Regards Mick.

Pool shower outside close to were they change and toilet save tracking around pool. As it looks the pool is likely to be big entertainment area need bathroom handy.

I'd go with the shower near the corner away from the house with slabs to the bridge

Personally I'd put the shower between the house and the pool, closer to the ladder so that bathers don't get out on one side then have to walk halfway round the back to shower and then walk back past where they were originally before going inside.

I think that a house like your requires a poolside CR with an indoor/outdoor shower, a pool house if you will. It will keep people from going inside dripping wet to use the CR and allow your guests to shower and change before coming inside to eat or visit. It should be convenient to help keep the lazy and kids from peeing in your pool. Lol.

The pool is really starting to look good. I understand now about seating area. I'm excited to see the pool completion.
