Te Danish royal house should go out to pasture instead of crowning a new one. Why do we have to pay over 100 million a year to people who can't wipe their bottoms themselves and have no disability? Consider that the money could instead go to power research, care for the elderly and help for young people in education. The Danish royal house should go down in history and be turned into a museum. There will never be equality in Denmark until the royal house is closed!!!!

My take is that Queen Margrethe decided to step down from her throne to prevent Prince Frederick and Princess Mary’s marriage from breaking down. She’s a great Queen indeed.

I grew up in Denmark in the 90s. Took in my family and gave us an unbelievably loving childhood. I can’t thank her and her people enough. Denmark is a wonderful country, although, having recently gone back to visit in my 30s I was shocked by the change in architecture in my beloved hometown of Amager.

They chopped all the trees down to build buildings 😂 oh well. Nevertheless, fantastic people.
