He would make a great Cable, and he would make an amazing Deathstroke, if they ever considered using Deathstroke in a DC movie.

Stephen Lang is born to play Cable. He is the best choice to play the character. He was really serious and military in Avatar and that is what Cable is. A natural born military mind killer who never smiles and always have the Messiah complex

You have to know the character to play the character, you can't over do it like what they did to deadpool, there going to have to do a lot in the story because deadpool was introduced because of cable so that origin in the beginning of the movie was pretty messed up. Since cables a time traveler they can fix the storyline for it can be like the comics. The movie wasn't that good to be honest but what they did right was that they made it feel like a comic.

He would be very good as cable! But he seems maybe a bit too charming! Cable is very rough and has that "doesn't get the joke" personality

Kyle Chandler is a good actor... If you want him to play Kyle Chandler. I don't see anything wrong with Stephen Lang, but I would prefer Jon Hamm for Cable.

Tom Hardy as Wolverine once Hugh Jackman hangs up his mantle as Logan? the dude's perfect. Hardy is short and stalky which is true to the comics and he can bulk tf up. he fits perfectly in my eyes. anyone agree?

I'm having a hard time between Stephen Lang and Dolph Lundgren both would make great cables but I believe Stephen needs to become yoked up and swole AF if going against Dolph Lundgren

I wanted him to play Cable too (He was my first pick when Cable was announced for the sequel.), but now that I hear rumors of Pierce Brosnan as Cable, I can't picture anyone else in the role. He doesn't just look like Cable; he looks exáctly like him. Stephen Lang merely falls in that first category.

He's an excellent choice for Cable, not just for his amazing physique at his age (or any age for that matter), but for his talent as an actor. He even has demonstrable comedy chops which is essential for Deadpool. IMO, he's the perfect choice. Other actors are also great choices, ie Ron Perlman, but I think Lang is really the only choice. He has the body, attitude, and moxy.

I still remember the moment I saw him in Avatar, like a love in first sight. I don't which part of the movie I start to think Cable but when he get on that mech and start beating the life out of that blue hippie I was sure Stephen Lang is the Cable. I also really wanted to see Domino in a movie... Sadly none of them happen.

Deadpool in the MCU, now that Disney have made the deal with Fox studios and it's the year 2019. I think it's about time Stephen Lang, is finally considered to play the role of Cable now.
