Thanks for providing a free template download. It would have been more useful if only it had type and search in the customer column if we have a large customer base and same in item list too.

I'd like to know how to clear the database on the workbook I've downloaded as to start from scratch (i.e. no customers, no invoices, no payments, etc.) I tried deleting all the Invoices and Payments from within the workbook but then I encountered an MVB error "Run-time error '1004':... [.Range(ItemDBRow & ":" & ItemDBRow).EntireRow.Delete 'Delete Invoice Item Row]

If you can give me an idea on how to either fix that or what content I can delete to start a blank DB I would much appreciate it.

Sometimes I wonder when to create a program in Excel or when MS Access is a better option. I always start from the reasoning that Excel is primarily a strong calculation program and Access is a strong data program. Looking at Excel and how much data it handles is "no numbers", it seems to me that Excel can be used just as well as an Access data program. On the other hand, Access can also add, subtract, divide, multiply etc. So I am confused. Or am I wrong?
