The Hoppings 2022 riding some of the scariest rides

While of course, The Hoppings has plenty of attractions for young children, it is perhaps its white knuckle rides that it’s most famous for and there is no shortage of them for any thrillseekers heading to the Town Moor this time round as the fair returns to Newcastle after a three-year hiatus.

Whether you end up on them through choice or peer pressure, there have been some pretty daring rides to take a turn on at The Hoppings.

We've all been guilty of watching some of the scarier rides in action to get a feel for how stomach-churning they could potentially be, before deciding to give them a go, and nine times out of ten, totally regretting it as soon as the ride starts!
