What a great video! Congratulations!
ОтветитьMadeira is not considered the Azores, that's right. I wasn't aware of that until a decade ago.
ОтветитьFrom what I see of the Potugese Azores, it seems very lonely.
Of course I have not traveled there. Part of my ancestors were from those islands. The funny thing is that they landed in Mendocino, an isolated costal place.
I got a face to the name here. Spectacular.
Ответитьthe new airport is a marvel in modern engineering, designed by a spanish architect, should read more, eu was not the live line, the airport was the unique element changed everything.
Ответитьdid not like the filming, too dark try to be sporky or create misterious feeling... failed it... Madeira is beautiful, sunny and lively.
ОтветитьImpressive footage! For those who are interested: There is not that much rain, the water running through the levadas is captured by the erica plants. The plants capture the small water drops in the fog and the clouds with their fine leafs. They are mentioned briefly, but I think they deserve a lot more attention: The levadas, old roads and the old wealth was built by slaves. A fact that conveniently gets omitted by guides and historic exhibitions.
ОтветитьAs a Madeiran, thank you for this video. Our island is so beautiful and mystical - and there's always something new to learn from it
ОтветитьI have been. It is a stunning stunning place
ОтветитьBro are your videos suppose to be this dark? Madeira is not as dark as you portray on the vid
ОтветитьNow that tourism runs the island. People from all over the world will come there. Litter. And destroy this island
ОтветитьWell a stunning island to visit, great climate all year round, buuuut small to live on and far from mainland…
ОтветитьRonaldo home❤
ОтветитьThe stories you tell and how you tell them is incredible! Your cinematography and the music make your storytelling so great to watch! Keep up the amazing work! This was the second video I watched on your channel and i can't wait to watch the rest!
ОтветитьI sailed there from Holland. 1987. Before sailing to the Caribbean Spent a few days. Drove all over. Absolutely spectacular. Churchill loved it. Best chessnuts I ever had in my life down in the Port. Lovely video. Thank you ❤
ОтветитьRandom question but does anyone that live in Madeira in the comments know the Jucas family? Idk if that's how you spell it.
ОтветитьThe Island is privat property to a German Streamer.
ОтветитьLove it how Aidin is moving from making cinematic videos and tutorials to making informative groundbreaking cinema work! Have been a fan since 3k subs. Long way to go!
ОтветитьBirthplace of SIUUUUUUUU
ОтветитьCan we get a little more history about the people?
ОтветитьTry researching "Corvo" island, one of the island from the Azores.
I think you will like it.
And many things😉 people from the country side they could give you a lot more stories 🤫🤫🫡 believe i now 😎❤
MADEIRA ISLAND MY HOME ❤❤
Thank you for the video of the history of my Home ❤💯👍👍👍
ОтветитьSiiuuuuuuu!
ОтветитьOutstanding Video Aidin!
ОтветитьThat fog forest is so dreamy, wouldn't mind building a shelter there if not for some problems that came along with it if you decided to build a home there 😅
ОтветитьThat crash wasn't due to the run way but the pilot did it intentionally
ОтветитьMadeira isn't a active volcano
Ответитьfun fact Madeira islands were called the purple islands
ОтветитьAmazing video and story telling!
Ответитьnews flash madeira has plenty of exclusive plant life to the island, and a lot of it was never known to the modern man, since at the time of the discovery of the island the explorers managed to set the island on fire, and it is said it burned for 7days..
ОтветитьNice video. Felt you were rather over dramatic in the end though. The conquest of the new world, while larger in scope than many previous conquests, was built on a tradition of conquering and being conquered that was common throughout all mankind for all of history. The native Americans were conquering and enslaving eachother when the Europeans got here, so the dramatic tone that implies that’s we, in modern times with modern morals, should feel some sort of guilt for what our ancestors with their fucked up morals did is imo again dramatic. But, not my video, so do what you want to do.
ОтветитьBinged your videos because your presentation and direction is absolute art, but I am equally curious if these shots really represent what it would be like to be there. You make everything feel misty, isolated, and primordial, but are these colors and values true to the reality of visiting?
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьI can't imagine you were here. I follow your work. Thanks for another great video. Hope you came back here again.
ОтветитьIf you're thinking of visiting madeira keep in mind:
-Avoid going off paths in the wilderness (you'll probrably fall off a cliff)
-If renting a car, get used to manual driving and clutching (you'll use it alot)
-The airplane is supposed to tip like that when landing ( clap at the landing, everyone does that for some reason)
-Do not do levadas at night or afternoon unless you're absolutely sure what you're doing as there are zones that do not have cell coverage, nor emergency dial capabilities,
-If you're taking a cab/taxi (uber isn't allowed in madeira), keep the gps on and make sure to ask the driver if you're going to the right place (they usually take a slightly longer route to cash more money)
-Do not be afraid to ask for directions or help to locals, most of us (that are under 50 years old) know enough english to explain it to you
- Have fun :)

Such a stunning location
ОтветитьThe Madeira Archipelago comprises Madeira island, Porto Santo island, all of the Desertas island AND all of the SELVAGENS island too.
ОтветитьCreating a video about Madeira telling its story and showcasing it’s amazing landscape in a way I have never seen + not mentioning Cristiano Ronaldo even once = Good Video
ОтветитьScottish guy here. I've been to Madeira and fell in love with the place. I've been to a fair few places around the world, but I think I left a piece of my heart on this island.
ОтветитьCongratulations for this video bout my homeland. The best I saw until today, with high quality images, sound and dialogue.
I am a native Madeira living in Portugal main land. It's interesting to see an American citizen descovering Portugal, with a cultural analysis I never saw in other tourist. Enjoy life. I hope to visit Hawai some day.
I'm honestly surprised Netflix hasn't came to you yet to do documentaries, you're videos are so interesting and filled with information I never knew about.
ОтветитьI seriously doubt that Madeira is the second richest region in Portugal. Lisbon and Oporto are much bigger and have been developed for centuries. Even Algarve has a serious tourism economy that an island like Madeira cannot accommodate
ОтветитьNice video! I lived in Madeira for a while, and it was very interesting. I think something worth mentioning is the modern issue of foreign investors that cause a housing crising by driving up the prices of housing.
Surprised you didn't mention poncha, the essential Madeiran drink!
And what's cool about the airport runway us that there is a gym, bouldering wall, bar, and boat marina under it!
This is why you don't selected amplified terrain when you are generating a new world.
ОтветитьWhen I was seeing your video I was thinking that you seem I maderian, because it's so well done. Congratulations and thank you so much, for your incredible work, this video is like a poem, an honour, to this island that I love so much.
