Hope you all enjoy this weeks video! Do you think a life of piracy was worth the risk?
ОтветитьI guess it would depend on the circumstance whether it was worth it or not.
ОтветитьI’ve got an early 1800’s grog barrel that was used the Royal Navy. They had daily rations. I swear it still smells of rum
ОтветитьMost sailors couldn't swim? 😢
ОтветитьAlso considering quality of life in general back then, if you weren’t of higher class you would almost live like this anyways, except you would be taxed blind and under constant societal pressure so I’d say it’s worth
ОтветитьStill....
ОтветитьAdmin host too underestimate.. Pirates are the sailor also those have diciplin.. You cant survive over the sea with out diciplin.. 😊
ОтветитьI like the British narrorators a lot better
ОтветитьWhen I grow up , I want to be a pirate. Argggghhh !!
ОтветитьNo not worth an eternity in hell.
ОтветитьSuch an underrated, high effort channel.
ОтветитьGreat research, so interesting!
ОтветитьIf there was no wifi, forget about it!
ОтветитьBeing a pirate not worth it cause they are kinda like the past, present or future gangsta where you either end up dead or in jail for most of them.
Ответитьwho came here after watching one piece?
ОтветитьCant even imagine fighting sea monsters, sea emperors, opposing the marine admirals, training your inner haki, eating devil fruits. Wait
Ответитьpirates were dirty trash criminals glamourized in shitty Hollywood films !
ОтветитьIf I was born back then I would’ve been king of the pirates
Ответитьwhy do people who clearly know very little about a topic go to the effort to make a video "teaching" everyone about pirates. the humans of the future are going to be so much dumber because of this phenomenon. the bilge is not full of spew and rotten water. these ships constantly take on water through the hull and they have pumps to remove the bilge water. they also have inlets for seawater to put out fires and clean. they were not the people you see in movies. they were intelligent and crafty folk with millennia of experience and expertise to draw from. there were not sharks surrounding every boat. just as today there are not sharks surrounding every boat. the sun beating down on the deck did not heat the ship up, the ships is made of a very good insulator called wood and its sitting in a very good cooling medium called water. we still have wooden vessels today. in every port. thousands are operating as charter vessels across the world, especially indonesia. we know what its like to live in one today because we still have them. its not a mystery you can "teach" us. the gun ports lined every available inch of the beam and made the decks soaked with fresh cool air off the ocean. sailors all had hammocks, not if. i mean did you just sit down and write a list of things you have heard watching movies and determined that your general fuzzy idea of those is some how realeated to actual reality? bro. wtf. this is garbagetainment. do better.
ОтветитьYo ho ho a pirates life for me!
Ответить🤢🤮🤢🤒😷😵😫😣😢😖😱
ОтветитьAye, a pirates life for me. Freedom as an outlaw yet truly free as a man. Yes being hunted by governments and another criminals a like may stear others away but Freedom is not free it will cost your life or soul.
ОтветитьWhat if the one piece was a worm Castle
ОтветитьNo mention of scurvy??
Ответить"Ouch!"
Ответить"Sharks!?" 🦈
Ответить"Nasty!"
Ответить"Scurvy?"
Ответить"Do pirate ships have toilets?" 🚽
Ответить"Wow!"
Ответить"Hard Tack?"
Ответитьone piece is real
ОтветитьAnother trade off: living with yourself as a murderer. No, not worth it.
ОтветитьJust makes me wanna be more of pirate
ОтветитьI got that AC4: Black Flag reference from that pic 😂
ОтветитьYooooooooo!
The life of a pirate for me!!!
A tough life makes a man or woman hard and hartless.
ОтветитьI wouldn't make it! To rough for me.
ОтветитьHonest question: Did they really pick out the larva? I would think the bugs provided some much needed protein, and I know that many civilizations ate/eat insects, so I'm surprised that malnurished sailors wouldn't eat them. Maybe the types of bugs (like weevils) aren't safe to eat?
Ответитьsay what you want you want about the putrid conditions upon the ships, but there is nothing more putrid then GOVERNMENTS (yes including the USA)
ОтветитьHilarious how all the modern advancements were invented by white people. You 3rd worlders would have still lived like the pirates if it weren't for the white people.
ОтветитьThere is NO vitamin C in anything anymore. Read the labels..I wonder how many people have Scurvey and aren't aware.
ОтветитьShiver me Timbers
ОтветитьSo basically pirates were bad ass!
ОтветитьGood video but nastyyyy life it was 🤢
ОтветитьOkay I’m subscribing now lol 😂
ОтветитьIn Jerry Seinfeld's words, 'I don't wanna be a pirate' but I'll take the puffy shirt.
ОтветитьThey were the scum of the earth. People loves them, due to ignorance.
ОтветитьThis was a really good video. it covered alot of ground and didn't waste alot of time doing it
ОтветитьRemember
The toilets were at the “head” of the ship hence that name given to toilets today
