An Unexpected Family (1996)

Wholsome movie 😊 absolutely fantastic

A fan of Stockard Channing, but have only seen a few of her movies and tv guest starring appearances, so this was a bit of a change from how I had seen her. Like others, heard about this movie just before starting the sequel and decided to watch in order. I imagine the "2nd part" is quite different?

I found this 1st movie leading to the sequel of this one via a comment. Bless that person for suggesting it. It did not ruin the order of this n the latter story, lol. This issue is soooooo real & relevant. Even ppl with a supposed hard heart & disinterest in children are movable. That is a unexpected & so unappreciated miracle. Gracias for this movie, it's so relevant. 🙏

Just listening to Louis Armstrong is so relaxing and wonderful.

I wish that the little boy would have been able to say, we want to stay with our aunt because when we come home from school we know she will be there and when we go to bed, we know she will be there in the morning. And we don’t have to be afraid if she says she is only going out for a few hours, she will come back

Just think of all the kids that don’t have a a barber heartbreaking so, if you can love kids, that’s not your step up for them adopt foster become a social worker become their aunt Barbara their man version of aunt Barbara mom, dad aunt uncle, grandma and grandpa cousin sister, brother become any of those for kids that need love and protection

Matt tried to steal the car and handcuffed himself to a locker 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I loved how Matt loved and was so protected of his little sister

I think Barbara had more maternal instincts than she thought

This and the sequel should be officially available on DVD

Goes to show being a career woman isn't the only way to live your life. The mother was extremely selfish but started to change for her children, we're all made up of different things & capable of changing for the good or for the bad.
