It's a neat game, but man, you're really overselling its complexity here

I bet if you built a Dinosaur Pack, it would be a HUGE hit! Especially with carnivorous dinos fighting vegetarian ones, while pterosaurs are flying over you. Combat might have to be upgraded a bit, but it would be super exciting to evolve dinos... especially for kids.

Is there any chance you’ll do a video like this again once the October update drops? If so, I’d love to see what specifications you use for the world seed, mutation chances and so on. When I tried something similar, granted only for two days, every species stayed almost the same as what they started off as

The sapling sounds so fun to just run

Should do it again but go more in detail on the different species as they evolve different things and make video like 22 mins long and makeit a series you could also do one that just keeps going for like a month

Hey Sapling, I know I am a year late, but there is a problem, I am in the first creature tutorial segment. I am on the part when making the creature breath on land, I have the legs and eggs yet I can’t figure out how to make it breathe on land, does anyone know how this is done or is it just a bug

I think to evolve wings you need to have a reason to, for example, if you have a forest habitat with fairly spread out trees and a ground predator it would be beneficial for the organism to jump from tree to tree then travel by foot, eventually gaining wings.

Try to do the same thing but with the aquatic animals and algae update

One time i let a sinulation run for a while and a very dense forest formed the plant there are mostly fat but the animals that was in the simulation just doesnt like the plant's glowy thingy

So out of curiosity, is it possible for herbivores to be able to adapt to defensive flora, the 'arms race' of herbivores that happen to have qualities such as armored faces/mouths or similar that can eat thorned plants and how flora react to this pressure? Cause from this older video it seems like any time a plant species develops thorns it always kills off the local herbivores who haven't moved onto another location where those adaptations haven't occured (yet). That and how long thorns will be sustained in a population long after local herbivores have died off.

I want to make one of these for myself.
