one of stupidest movie i watched so far, but at least made me laugh few times :)

This movie was a classic for me. Maybe it didn't do well with most but it had a particular nostalgia for me!

I loved that movie so much as a child. ❤🎉 Everyone needs a good B ...or C movie and this is one of mine. 👏👏🥰

To be fair, John Williams music carried that "other dinosaur movie". Take out John Williams music and what is Jurrassic Park? Super Mario Brothers.

Why does this video first say that the actors were hired before securing the right director and writer, then say bob hoskins signed on because he liked the script, then contradict itself again and say that the director and writers were looked into after hiring hoskins and leguizamo

All of pats books thus far are of the upmost quality. Love Pats opinions or hate them you cant say the man dont put out quality products.

I remaber at YMCA summer camp wean an vote came up beween going to Super Mario Bros Movie and and film called Dargon. The kids picked Dargon however the YMCA got notes form the kids moms and dads telling them to go to the Super Mario Bros Moive or no moive at all. My mom was one of them I asked her to rigth an note so that the YMCA woundn't make me see Dargon. The kids sill hold an gurde on me today since and it forever chaged how the YMCA picked moives in thier summer camps.

I think I've watched this video 30 times by now. I watch it when I'm bored or stressed. Also the move isn't that bad. If it weren't for some story situations that felt like they were written by a middle schooler (I mean this very literally), it would be much, much better.

I watched this movie as a kid and loved it, i still love it and watch it often. It’s a comfort movie.

I feel bad for Bob Hopkins he really hated this movie with a burning passion.

I remember renting this movie many times from blockbuster. I haven’t seen it in at least 15 years but I did enjoy it a lot as a kid.

How I would made this version would probably be better and more faithful. It would also be more critically successful and financial this version happened.

After watching this first, and the animated Illumination Mario film when I got to see it in theaters with my mom, the animated Mario movie is one of the best, but I still enjoy the original live-action 1993 Mario movie, it’s not perfect by all means, but it and the animated iteration are one of my favorite movies I’ve seen in my life.

I wonder Norman (Gaming Historian) thinks of the New Mario movie from Illumination.

Yes, it is a very weird movie, but I enjoyed it when I saw it as a kid in the theatre. I think there is some bandwagon effect with all the negativity.

As a Call of Duty Zombies fan, I just HAVE to say this. The name Samantha Mathis kind of sounds like Samantha Maxis from Call of Duty Zombies. Hear the similarities?

Watching this after the new Mario Brothers movie... you can tell that Nintendo were walking on eggshells with the movie. The new film isn't bad in any way... but it's not great. It's actually kind of forgettable.

I seen this movie three times years ago i dont see anything wrong with it i love that movie because it has the historical reasons and blade runner vibes to it. Sadly bob hoskins is dead i still think of him as mario no matter what, this movie is 30 years old and im forever grateful to experience the cgi effects there truly impressive. Im allmost 30 myself x3

If you go into this movie expecting Super Mario, you're going to come away confused.

You need to go into it expecting Adventures in Dinosaur City by way of Johnny Mnemonic.

It is amazing how Super Mario Bros. could have been better in a mountainous number of ways. But, it is still impressive in a way. I find it strangely entertaining despite the fact that every movie making mistake possible had been made in its making. 😎

The new animated Super Mario Bros. Movie is good and a tremendous financial success! It looks like Nintendo learned their lesson.
