ОтветитьLooks awesome I've been looking at that rc for my next one keep up the awesome videos
ОтветитьNice to see the various changes and testing between each. Cannot wait to see the difference with a brushless setup.
ОтветитьLove that beach crawler 😂😂
ОтветитьNice work appreciate the incremental steps so you don't do too much just enough, thanks for sharing
ОтветитьMan you just ain't changed in a week lol jk rtr on waffles rc? I kid man i kid killer ta see how you're gonna upgrader
ОтветитьThat thing is awesome. I might have to get one soon lol 🎉❤
ОтветитьOne thing to watch on longer shocks is the range of travel and spring rate.
I replaced the standard FTX OUTBACK 2 (yeah, yeah, shut up😄) with 90mm of the finest Chinesium.
I got the lift but with less travel.
The Standard had more travel and softer springs resulting in more travel. D'oh🤦🏻♂️😆
I did a fusion pro in mine...very nice! To make the body easier to get on and off i would suggest fine lazer designs clipless body mount. Takes a little getting used to but works very well.
ОтветитьEvening after sauna 👋🙂 nice good video 😁👍
ОтветитьAmen me too buddy bought the same exact color. Actually we went into hour LHS to view over Christmas break and they had the red one. Wife was like ah I was ah we walked out.
They ask is there anything we can help you with my wife said like the silver one. He says hold on comes out famous last worlds last one 🤣 dude was not blocking wife looks at me says what are you going to do?
Add another fake car to our estate 😂 by the way CJ-5/7 are my favorite vehicle ever
love that jeep
ОтветитьNice work that a good video I'm definitely gonna throw some new rims and tires on my truck and eventually weights or those axles thumbs 👍
ОтветитьUse that dig on the stairs pull the front end down
ОтветитьI took the body off that ways almost as much as the car itself and it preforms amazing
ОтветитьKeep up the good work!! 🤘🤘
ОтветитьI am trying to promote you in FB groups but none of my posts get approved. Too bad because this is awesome!
ОтветитьJust wondering Mr Waffles. Did you happen to do the math on buying a set of frame rails in a body? And then adding all that stuff I mean honestly that's about the only thing that's not going to get changed by the time you're done except for maybe the transmission. Not being an ass*, just genuinely asking
ОтветитьDoes that have the goofy bent panhard like other scx10iii
ОтветитьCreo que con un poco de peso delante hubiese bastado
ОтветитьJeep's looking better. l put 15mm brass hub extensions on mine. Better/heavier tires makes a big difference with such a tall vehicle.
ОтветитьAlot of bump steer with those axles and torque twist with the long shocks
ОтветитьThis video was very informative 1 of bit of information I didn't know was about spacing the wheels out changes the face it may start catching as you would thought it would actually less likely to.
ОтветитьMy friend I watched the whole video carefully and, I'm sorry, but I have to contradict you.
First of all you can clearly see from the video that the shoulder of the tires gave way almost completely, I'm talking about the rear ones.
This alone contributed heavily to destabilizing the vehicle and making it bend too much.
Solution: blue Injora silicone inserts.
I agree about making the wheelbase between the tires a little wider, but without overdoing it.
When you were at 26cm it was already fine.
The second thing that causes problems is too much body height.
With those beautiful blue shocks you have raised the body further.
By a little but you made the already critical situation worse.
Solution: reposition the original shocks at the highest point of attachment on the towers and you will gain just enough to lower it a little, just a little.
If that is not enough then little trick.
With ties or clamps limit the travel of both the front and rear shocks.
The ratio is: a little more limited forward and less at the back (usually)
This will lower the body and limit the travel of the shocks if they are pushed equally but will not limit them when one is compressed and the other not.
Virtually no-cost modifications.
Let me know how it goes and if my advice was helpful.
I hope so and have fun buddy
Awesome 👌 👏 👍
ОтветитьAwesome approach, covering all types of builds/upgrades.
ОтветитьJust bought the newish RTR Deadbolt.SCX10.2 Just to se what AXIAL is all about. New wheels and tires decided to stick with brand on wheels and HyRAX tires. Yeah racing 110 mm shocks with a negative droop. Next changing all plastic links and building links from brass. Was very curious to see from a RTR what extreme balances to make it SWEET! Think I made it happen will let ya know!✌🏼🏴☠️☠️🎳
ОтветитьI want to say thank you for this video, i very badly want to build a rock crawler, but i do not have the means to build on like you do, so seeing this is refreshing knowing that you can buy an rtr and with minimal effort it can be efficient
ОтветитьI want that to be my next RC
ОтветитьAwesome video I just finished a scx10 pro build its just a roller right now but would love to get your take on it so I know where to go
ОтветитьYour CG is too high too much spring in your shocks maybe try desert lizards half droop hundred millimeters and you’ll have better luck

ОтветитьHi again from Canada
I have a question about what you did to connect the stock drive line to the new axles?
I have the SCX10 lll Bronco that I put a scale 4 door hard body Jeep and I tried to put the same axles that you just put on but the pin to hold the drive line on wouldn't start to thread, I have touse the stock drive line because it is all I have. Can you help? Thanks for sharing your videos with us.
Are you going to take the spacer out of the transmission so you have two speed? I'm in Fla. I don't do rear dig. They don't tell you there's both in the trans and all you have to do is swap the spacer from the dig shift rod to the forward 2 speed shift rod. Or, Get radio with more channels. They should advertise this Jeep has 2 speed in it. I didn't buy one untill I found out, Didn't think it was worth the money if I had to add one, I'm sure they'd have alot more sales!
ОтветитьI drove mine around a while. Did wheels. Then tires. Then different covers. Along the way I did the Harley designs vfd swap with a fusion pro along with vfd stance 90mm shocks. It goes and goes and goes. Threw a storm trooper in it and some lighting and boom it’s a killer.
ОтветитьWonderful video Brother,, keeping it real!!! People please listen to this man. I watch so many of the Big channel throw money away on a lot of upgrades that are not needed!
ОтветитьWhat shocks are you using? I have some 120mm like that on my homemade build. I have an scx10 ii chassis with axial capra metal portal axels weight wheels with mud slinger tyres and an lc70 body but my shocks are not smooth at all
ОтветитьYou really need to replace the steering servo
ОтветитьWhat axles
Ответить👍👍 yeah awesome here watching 7:42 PM Tuesday, January 21
ОтветитьHalf preload on rear shocks it will keep rear planted better they flop too easily, just another free opinion lol.
ОтветитьI have the exact jeep , I liked the grey better than red , now I know a few things that I can do , thank you for this video , love your videos , please keep up the great job .
ОтветитьI use the stick on lead weights that they use on real cars in my wheels , I found them on eBay about 200 for around 9.00 , they help for low weight , I use them on all my crawlers, have you ever used them ?
ОтветитьI have the H10 Optic Axles coming just because of your video lmao... width makes the difference i see along with more travel
ОтветитьI always try to keep the center of gravity low as possible with as much droop as possible and width is also key.
ОтветитьBest vid I've seen all day
ОтветитьThank you for an awesome video!
What are those hex extensions called please
I've looked for them but no luck yet
Thank you 👍🏼
