actually had a rmx1 about 11 years ago then got a rs7000. the rs7000 is just a rmx1 with sampling but used a midi keyboard akai mpk but the rmx1 is a slept on unit it can do alot liked the beat awesome keep it up.
ОтветитьYou assign them to the same Mute group on the S2K. And I'm not sure what you mean by your first question, but editing samples is a lot easier to do with a wav editor. Then you can just transfer them with MESA.
ОтветитьDope Beat, Bro! Thanks for the Vids. I'm subscribing.
ОтветитьI was pitching the sample on the S2K...just using a knob on the RM1X to control the S2K's pitch. And I could've got an MPC2K maybe...but that has no keygroups, so I couldn't have made this beat with it. If you didn't notice I use "multi-samples" in this vid, which the MPC2K cannot deal with. Plus, I try to stay away from cliches.
ОтветитьGJ!
ОтветитьReal nice, I like it....especially like the end sequence to the sample you used, it sounds like it has a modulated pitch bend to it, sounds real good!
ОтветитьIn general, good stuff with the PK, you've helped me make a difficult choice between it and the TF by M-audio. I saw you post somewhere you had a Tascam us-2400. Any tutorials/demo's up soon? Is it worth the cash? My use is primarily beats and then guitar based rock/jazz. Thanks for the inspiration yo!
ОтветитьAwesome way to demonstrate an on the fly beat. Coo set up for the budget, cause we all kno how expensive pro audio is.
ОтветитьNot really. The keys on the RM1X aren't velocity sensitive or very responsive and easy to break. Since they're used for other things, like track selection/muting, using something else as a controller is safer IMO.
ОтветитьGreat job Bro! That beat sounds cool. I like that flute sound after the keys. I could be content with my Computer and RM1X, but I got alot more than that now.
ОтветитьHaving a problem with comments on this vid. Pugg...no, it comes with Reason Adapted, which is missing a lot of features. And Awake303 wrote that the beat was boring. No need to apologize for having an opinion though.
Ответитьthis shit is fire i cant wait till i snatch up that padkontrol
ОтветитьSerato is a $700 program...this vid is about a budget set up. And, in this case, the sample is in tune with A440...how do you think I was able to add a bassline?
ОтветитьNot sure where that sample came from...it's something I chopped up a long time ago. And on budgets, Reason is a $400 program. You can get the S2K for $100, the RM1X for $150.
Ответитьi really like that sample. good beat!!!
Ответитьdid you get that sample from a ughh. com beat battle like two years ago...??? i have that same sample from an ughh. com battle
Ответитьpadcontrol is a midi controller, not a sampler.
Ответитьdo you know if there is a way to load samples into the padlontrol without using any computer programs?
ОтветитьNice dude! The ol' rm1x is still one of my favourite hardware sequencers.
ОтветитьHA! I started out on the RM1x. I still use it for SineBass.
