Ответитьi used to calligraphy (won a national award for it in 2014) and quit maybe 5 years ago. Now I'm nowhere near as good and watching you have so much hand control and how clean each stroke is is just absolutely amazing and mesmerizing.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this process. I enjoyed every second. 🙏🏽✨✨
ОтветитьHello and greetings from Sweden! 🤗 I enjoy watching your video and listening to your friendly and humble voice and ways are soothing.
Your work of art in Chinese calligraphy is beautiful! It's an impressive way to write. My deepest respect, but I don't understand a thing in Chinese, but I'm really stunned. Thank you so much. Much love 🥰
HellI and thank you,
Do you have any suggestions for left m-handed students?

ОтветитьYou’re channel is one of my great favorites especially when you are explaining in Chinese. It’s one of my most favorite languages. There’s a certain interwoven beauty to Mandarin. Take your time no matter how long. We love your videos for this and the quality you bring to your lessons. ❤
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your video. I used to practice chinese calligraphy writing when I was young at elementary school in Asia. After moved to US, I haven't done any since. After watching your video, I would like to start again. May I ask you to recommend a set of brush that I can start out with? Your etsy link no longer point the brush set anymore. Amazon would do as well if you have any recommendation. Thank you in advance. Take care! Just subscribed to your channel. :)

I took a Chinese calligraphy class in college, and I still have all the materials from that class, but I haven't written anything since I left college. I really need to pick it up again, if only to connect with my roots (my late grandfather was a talented amateur calligrapher).
ОтветитьThis is amazing. What book are you using? I'm learning calligraphy myself.
ОтветитьI remembered my childhood.
ОтветитьI have no connection to the Chinese language or calligraphy but I wanted to try something new. I just used watercolor and I'm really not good at it but it was so fun and relaxing, thank you! :)
ОтветитьYou are such a wonderful teacher. ❤ And so kind
ОтветитьHi Yang you help me so much in Mandarin class u are the reason I am fluent
ОтветитьI love watching these videos pretending I'm a chinese old woman that lives a beautifully peaceful life, even though I'm a mexican 20-something year old girl with tons of debts and work to do.
ОтветитьBeautiful thank you
ОтветитьMay I know what is the name of this book?
ОтветитьI be back
ОтветитьAlthough Chinese characters have changed since ancient times, both Han and modern people can understand each other's characters
ОтветитьThe texture of the paper used here causes the ink to seep or bleed into the fibers, in a way I've not seen in other online demonstrations of Chinese calligraphy. It's an interesting and unusual effect.
ОтветитьI tried to copy your grip/hand position on the brush and I almost gave myself a cramp! I will stick to watching! I wish I knew the names/words for some of my favourite characters to share with you, there are some which are just particularly pretty or powerful. Lovely video, I keep coming back to this one!!
ОтветитьWatching your videos made me want to learn the language. Now, my partner and I are finally going to start learning :)
ОтветитьIt's beautiful but I am afraid of the wolf....
ОтветитьIf you rig the mic closer to your paper, we could hear the strokes better, and that would be heavenly! I know! So demanding 😂
ОтветитьYour kanji* are looking lovely today 👏🏻 They we’re bleeding a little in the other video and I was worried 😆
*I don’t know the Chinese word for kanji. Do tell 😃
I tried that a few years ago, but my arthritis is progressing, so I'll have to enjoy it vicariously through your videos! Love the grinding! Keep posting! Thanks. ;)
Ответить“Carry on with your spirit” I liked that part
Ответитьchinese writing just looks so cool, and i would love to learn chinese.
